Mothman event dead already ?

For the last 2 to 3 days, no really seems to do the Mothman event anymore....all I needed was the Fluttering Moths plan.

Loads of all the other new plans dropped time and time again...but not this one.

Maybe 2 weeks is too long for these event and people get bored already ?

I've seen it pop up 3 times total since it started. Maybe the problem is the event just doesn't happen frequently enough. I've also heard it's difficult to solo and you need multiple people to do it with you.

I've been getting into more servers with low level players, I think that because there are more lower levels, they tend to not join the event.

It should start on the hour. Minimum people I have done it with is 3 and even then I think we lost a pyre....

Did it twice this morning. Thought it was going to be close, but we ended up around 6 people each time and were able to keep all 3 pyres lit.

already got the plans, no need to keep doing it, pretty sure most people have everything by now

Server hopping right on the hour will usually give you at least 2 other active players, which is enough to finish the event with all 3 pyres fairly easy. You can do it with 2 total if someone is good enough to defend both the bridge and waterfront (which I had to do today, quite stressful if you don't have AoE, but it can be done still).

And as others have said, it's because of the flood of new players, which is an otherwise great thing. It just makes it a little hard to do events that require multiple players.

ive had a few join me but in the early morning hours or in the evenings/at night i see ppl doing like daily ops or something and thus miss out on it

Probably just that it's harder to complete with lots of noobs, I did Safe and Sound yesterday with lots of noobs and was able to complete it. But a lot of the players just weren't able to kill the mobs and the boss is so tanky, I stuck close to the objective with a flamer in a Bloody build and slaughtered but the boss was difficult with someone dropping nukes that did squat except blind me..

I did it 2 times this morning to knock out my weekly stuff, had another great time with the low levels. Used allot of stimpaks. The hardest part is the new players have no idea where all the High priests are or Totems and all camp at one place-mostly the church. But I had fun, that's all that counts.

Even if you have all the plans, the 15% xp buff for an hour on top of double xp and any other buffs you are running is well worth it.

The second event I did this morning, somebody had dropped a nuke at the top of the hour. We were able to finish Mothman, and still make it to the end of Scorched Earth.

Last days i had problems to find a server with enough people, too many low levels from the free codes just leveling their way, and sure thats fine, but i cant do the mothman event alone, or even with 2 people its too much.
I just search for better server, and i sure hope alot of the new people stick with the game.

Yeah, I agree it's the noobs, and don't get me wrong, I'm happy to see it. Some of these players will stick around for the long haul. But I've seen a big drop in average level in the server, and so events tend to be less populated, and casual teams less full. It's just a temporary thing I'm sure.

And I really like Mothman Equinox, definitely one of my top events. But it does come every hour so 'not happening enough' isn't really a thing. It ends in two days anyway.

With the level balancing, letting new player participate more should have been a thing they anticipated.. What a shock that they did nothing or didn't care to do anything..
