I have to redo the character creation all the time??

I just started this. Got in, made my character, played the mini game on the computer, sat down in the chair and then it CTD. So I started it up and nothing was saved, I had to redo the character creation. I looked up on how to save this game, it said quit to main menu. So I did, and then loaded the game again - AGAIN i have to redo the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ character creation? What the ♥♥♥♥ is this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥?

Talk about a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ disaster of a first impression. I've been told for several years now that "Fo76 is actually pretty good now.." but yeah nah it seems like its still a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ broken piece of ♥♥♥♥?

your character is never saved until you exit the vault

No it is not broken. You need to exit the vault to save your character

After you leave the vault you can press escape anytime and "Change your appearance" is an option just above settings.

yea just speedrun out of the vault if you have crash probs, chance your visuals later.

have a similar problem here, everytime i finished to create my char it can`t walk, it jumps and makes all the moves but it can`t walk,
When i tgen go back to main menu or option and want to get back to my char, it doesn`t exist no more and i have to create a new one....and so on, over and over again...can`t get it to walk or play the game..

So then exactly a keybind error; Have you enabled the controller in the settings? seems like you have to do this a hundred times until it responds.
