As for everything else ie events, Expeditions, Daily Ops, seasonal events, they are all multiplayer stuff.
FO76 is a single player game set in a multiplayer world. In addition, there are community events you can opt in to play with others.
The MP is not great in my view, but rewarding. Events are not all that inspiring to me, but the payoff is good so that's why I'm eager to jump in.

911 hours of play and I've never been attacked by another player. As I understand it, unsolicited attacks cause you no damage unless you accept the challenge to fight.
