Why do people go for casual team instead of event team?
I figured since you get more xp for being in an event team it makes more sense to do so?, yet whenever an event team is created most people flock to casual

Its because you only get more xp for doing events on an events team whilst Casual teams get a little bit more for everything they do. A lot of people quest or build or just explore so it would not make sense to be on a events team then.

Gotcha, guess that makes sense

I find you will have a much higher chance of having a full group if you keep it on casual.

Usually whenever I go with events you will only have people join when there is an event currently active which is weird since the event is usually over by the time the group gets the bond so there isn't much point of them joining to begin with.

For this reason i'll sometimes just switch to event after we have the bond right as an event starts and try to remember to change it back afterwards.

I think most people do Casual because it boosts INT, which helps with overall XP gain. Maybe I'm wrong but the extra INT has a few advantages to it.

The sharing of perk cards is a bonus. Making a casual team will get you more team for longer time and that adds a bonus. When I, spur of the moment make an event team, it fills up and after event most people leave. More XP advances the Scoreboard and awards, I wonder if you get MORE XP doing a casual team over an event team because of the "other" benefits? Probably.

Definitely, especially if it's a high-kill-yield event like Radiation Rumble or Eviction Notice. The event XP is fixed, but the extra 2% per INT point (so up to 8% for a full, bonded team) adds up quick if you're killing mobs of glowing ones or super-charged super mutants.

If the leader is fast enough, the smart thing do the event, do, or expo on casual team until right before the end then swap it out to event, do, or expo team.

I reckon you could always have the team set to casual and just change it to events just before the event finishes to get the most EXP possible (without other buffs like food etc).

edit: dagumit Bizzare you ninja'e me lol

Dr. Nim Saj Apr 3, 2023 @ 7:58pm
earle is a great example also
always switch to event last 30 secs

ofc you get silly people that don't get it
Traveler Apr 3, 2023 @ 10:06pm
Because know one knows what an event team is?
Dr. Nim Saj Apr 3, 2023 @ 10:55pm
i know

i also know why roleplay teams are used
Pctechnik Apr 4, 2023 @ 2:31am
Ok, you got me with roleplay. I know there is a CHR Bonus, but unless the vendor has 10x the normal, there isn't much point to it. Maybe I am wrong...?
