What should I spend my gold on next?

I have a little more than 9000 gold.
Stealth Commando build.

I have the Secret Service "tighty whities" and a mod for that.

My next purchase was going to be the SS Armor.
Arms, Legs, chest, NO helmet. Will get the helmet someday.

I don't have much of anything I can think of off hand I have bought with gold.
Except what I mentioned above. And that ridiculous No Chicken Chicken Coop thing.
They seen me coming.

Is the SS Armor the thing to get?
If so, for down the road. What mods do I want for the armor?
Minerva is the only one I can buy from.
I haven't completed the quests yet.

Back then, when you have learned a plan you were able to have legendary drops from it. Still fonctionning but with the legendary craft ability, these drops mean nearly nothing, but who knows with Lady Luck ... !!!

Nothing worth buying other than secret service armor and lunchboxes. The rest is flotsam.

Yes go for SS armour and the buttressed mods for best resistance. Also deep pockets or whatever you want for other mod slot. I don't see the point of the jetpack. I have it but took it off as i find it pointless. Same for power armour. Great for flying around and looking cool but in reality marsupial mutation does everything i need to get onto roofs and the like.

I never got the helmet even though i have heaps of gold. Don't see the point when it costs so much but offers no extra resistance. I just buy lunchboxes with gold now.

It is probably the best bullion purchase i have made. Great set of armour.

I agree that SS armor is great. I've got a full set of weapon weight reduction that allows to carry a bunch of toys. For mods I would say buttressed and ultra-light. Since you're running a stealth commando, the ultra-light gives AP bonus per piece. I used to have the deep pocket mod but swapped it for the AP bonus. The +10 carry weight from deep pockets ends up netting less since it adds weight. Aside from that, I used gold for the ammo maker and thinking about playing around with the thorn armor since I, like you, have about 9000 gold plus another 650 notes to burn.
