They try to get offline as fast as possible.
Sounds like he wasn't paying attention to his caps and you put him over the limit and he lost a lot so blocked you to keep you from buying anything else.
But well, that's on him.
And since it's too annoying to switch camps and my camp is pretty out of the way, now when i get loaded with known plans i seek out low level players and jut drop them all to them.
Add me if you want to check, or if you are lower than level 50 ill drop you what i have on me
Don't sell anything and don't have a visible camp but anyone who stumbles on it will at least get an explanation of why nothing is for sale.
Those markets usually have contact between each others and like all things of the world ppl with cash will pay what they thing an item (real or digital) is worth, so, ppl with those items, charges (with a prize) based of how many stock (demand vs supply) are currently in x amount of time in those markets (week, month, 6 months, a year, etc..)
This is the theoric, now the practice, fallout76 had (and have) a big problem, this game lacks of ppl farming it, if you saw the communist system in how this game works, game at long time punishes you if play for a lot of hours/day (npc merchants/machine sharing cash), so there are few ppl farming, and when the players who demand rare or very rare stuff (like the plans all we saw at 20k or more...), because of this ridiculous low supply then the prizes rise up infinitely.
PS: Someone can think, why players made those unofficial markets? easy answer, if you sell something using player vendor machine, game charges you with a 10% fee, if you sell it directly to other player no fee in the middle, this way of trade is lucrative but dangerous, you can be scammed, robbed, etc.
