How do I change the controls for C.A.M.P?

I recently started playing, despite owning this for ages, but I hate the C.A.M.P controls, yet couldn't find a way to edit the keybinds for it in the settings.

You can try the keybinds in options, but be aware a lot of keys have multiple uses so changing one might not be recommended with some of the bugs (Features) in the game.

^ This. There are many keys that unfortunately cannot be changed. Camp build keys are some of them.

Since the dawn of of time I've used F as my interact key in games (more convenient than E). However, when I have it set to F, it won't allow me to relocate objects using that key, I have to go back into settings, set it back to E, do the needful, then go set it back to F for normal play.

Bizarre.

However, this is part of the UI, and we all know how sh*tty Bethesda's game's UIs are.
