Mouse Speed
My mouse is operating way way too fast in Fallout 76.

One day I had a problem with the menu's and the bottom third of the screen was blocked off to me. I set the screen to window mode and this solved the problem. But, my mouse is over-acting to all movement.

Normally I would adjust my mouse speed using its software but I think I am already set to 850 DPI which seems right and works good on my PC and other games.

Is there a setting in Fallout 76 I can use to adjust the DPI setting for the mouse. While the game isn't unplayable slight movements have my mouse racing across the screen.

DPI is really personal preference IMO so I wont say to lower it lol. I think you should try to reduce the Report Rate (pooling rate, reports per second) for the mouse. I have set mine to 250. 500 or less seems to be more comfortable for the hardware in most cases.

I just set my camera or mouse sensitivity in the options to 1 tick from nil. It worked for me.

That seemed to work a bit better. While I was at it I switched back to full-screen and was able to access the bottom third of my monitor.

Except for one or two other games I have more trouble with Fallout 76 than all the others combined.

Not sure what to tell ya there. Check your graphics configuration program (nvidia control panel or similar) and double check that resolution is set to atleast 1920x1080 or higher. That will depend on your setup. Next, check the aspect ratio. 16:9 and 16:10 widescreen is standard. Now you should check the size and position. It could be that you have somehow limited the screen area. Also, it is worth a check to unplug writting utensils or tablets etc. I have a cheap one that seems to interfere with controls at times. I have not used it much since.

You have already changed the mouse speed settings in the game menu?

Go to game settings and controls. There are X and Y sensitivity sliders. Turn these down and see if it helps you with your issue.

Every time Microsoft does an update I have to change my mouse settings. They hate my mouse or my mouse hates them I am not sure. Some times when we get a big download like a new season it does it also-getting used to it. Have to change it on the computer and on the game settings also.
