On a related note my favourite has anti armor as the first star and lightweight as the third star.
It took me ages to learn the second star ability of Heavy Hitter which i did by making and scrapping "Face Breakers"
The Heavy Hitters makes a noticeable difference to how long it takes to kill things.
Stable tools = slow degrade rate of all AUTO weapons(Auto axe, drill, mr handy buzzsaw, chainsaw) - Stacks with Makeshift warrior
both in int.
Add luck of the draw(luck) for a pretty decent chance (at luck 15+ total, including buffs) it will repair itself automatically as u use it (only to 100% though, will go from 200% to 100% then hover around 100% forever if your luck is high enough, really don't need much, 9 base + 6 luck food will cover that)
I run through expeditions or where there are mobs in third person and it works better.
Also AP buffs help a lot to keep it running longer.
Also if you regularly participate in certain nuked events (yes, which are now less common) (or Encryptid & Project Paradise) you may gather a significant stash of Improved Repair Kits which make the AA a 'moderate maintenance weapon' at that point.
