I guess
Problem is it will likely happen at their camp or when they aren't around other players
The last time this bug existed, the syringer needed a radiation mine to cause rad damage, now it just the syringer shot alone that will kill people (and its been tested and confirmed that that is all that is required)
So the only risk a player had was in doing something themselves to bump up their own hp, not a stranger maliciously doing it
Combine this with eating them?
Put in a ticket last week about this because I by accident hit someone in my team with the Karma Stinger and they ended up getting knocked..
In game it says it gives you +50 hp but doesn't say anything about subtracting that hp.. but the game is subtracting both +50 and giving you a -50 so losing a total of -100hp and the support agent told me it wasn't suppose to be doing that only removing the +50hp so I guess could be patched on the next update unless more people start abusing this bug and it could get patched sooner.
Depends
Players murder by the tens of thousands to millions EACH of - humans, animals (including those on the verge of extinction), medically sick individuals and sick animals, sapient mutated lifeforms, intelligent extraterrestrial creatures, etc etc etc
So is killing one player to save literally countless NPC's evil or good?
I'd argue its a massively high karma choice
Then it becomes a deeper consideration of forced roles, free choice, sentience, and much many more shenanigans. Simplified, however; is either the NPC or player deaths actually hurting anyone? If no to both, then karma is not involved at all - I say the gods of RNG and their particular favor more applicable.
Even though it's a bug, it's a good one to finally 'balance' risk vs reward. Just like how Todd wanted this game at the start, the real risk is other players. Todd gets what Todd wants...
So you saying as long as the PVP peeps cry enough about it it should get to stay ???
wow glad they are the minority.
