What's the point in Bloodied ?
Finally got Emergency Protocols after 600rhrs play time for my PA blooded build,so time to try it. All applicable perks, Nerd Rage, Suppressor, Tenderizer, Dodgy, Adrenaline, Starched Genes..all of em. All the correct legendaries, 3 pieces of Overeaters, 2 aristocrat, on Ultracite PA. Using a prime Foundations Vengeance with explosive perks.

Died more times in the space of 3 hrs than i had in the last 300 hrs with my Vampire Gatling Plasma build. Sure ! Things die in 2 seconds instead of 4, not that i could actually see ANY of the mobs due to the explosive light show in front of my eyes....yes i can see the damage numbers, but it's through a maelstrom of in your face actinic flashes.

The only thing i don't have is Union Armor, Level 211 atm.

I guess this is why all the bloodied players at events get as high as the can in the environment and just lob down aoe crap everywhere, they are glass cannons and canna take the pain of up close and personal.

To let power armor users revive them in combat.

Bloody are chadDPS bois that think dmg is above all.

Some people like the style, I personally don't.

I love full health power armor with anti armor, vamp, or Aristocrat

One could argue that you don't even unlock your 6th Legendary Perk slot until you hit level 300 - much less are able to max them all, so not a true test.

I wouldn't do that, because I think bloodied is stupid and never do it, zero issues with my various full health non-PA builds. It is really powerful META when done right, which I will let all of the bloodied proponents tell you about below me.

Union Armor probably has less actual armor than Ultracite, just +weight and +poison resist. So it's not the armor, it's your playstyle like you said. Mow stuff down from range.

I use Bloodied build in PA with Enclave Flamers, one Bloodied, one Vampiric. Bloodied for not that dangerous situations (most of them) and Vampiric for bosses and the like. I can stand in front of SBQ/Earle/Mole with 43 HP and be fine. Maybe get yourself a Vampriric Minigun too for those harder fights that things get too close.

Edit; And yes I use VATS in PA with Flamers. Why ? That Legendary Perk Electric Absorbtion is ridiculous and refills your Fusion Core. Not to mention we now have the Fusion Core recharger. Easy street.

Pretty much this but last line edited to my style. I think the whole notion of bloodied builds is silly, buit if you like it, why not? I don't get drawn to glass cannon builds in any sort of game. Light and stealthy is my way.

I have always used the vampires. given myself a solid armor build (non-power armor) and full fed/health builds. I only die if I switch to non Vampires, otherwise I stay at near full health in just about every fight. Even out numbered.
As a veteran player i can say i play a long time as a Bloodied Commando build, keep in mind that even a Bloodied build can be tanky with the right build.

The reason i love a Bloodied build is for serveral reasons, max DPS in a short time. I klill enemies within seconds with my god-roll RWR, have more inventory space, have 42P which is perfect for my Commando build, tons of intelligence with the right food.

So much to tell about a Bloodied build it is just the best build for a long time if you care about dps and XP like i do. Specially when the Double XP weekends are up then a Bloodied build is the only build there is if you go for DPS and XP.

Nothing get more exp per kill than carnivore during double xp weekend.

Many people I know do the same as you, BUT, I feel so naked with out my t-65 and perks to go along with it :) ... I have the full load, set of SS, I will be trying out soon tho :)

I've been a full-hp build+PA player for around 200-something levels... I hated the fact that "everyone and their mother" was running around with low HP and I was there, alone, with full hp, like an idiot...

... then I got myself 5-piece set Unyielding Secret Service. I now absolutely LOVE my 45-50 INT and super fast leveling. With all other stats(except END) being above 20/25, some even 30+... And secondary effect rolls on those Unyielding SS armor aren't ideal, they could be better.

It now feels like I was actively shooting myself in the foot by not using Unyielding/low HP build when I leveled up my earlier levels. I absolutely LOVE getting 3-4 and once even got 5 levels during Radiation Rumble event. It's literally just printing Perk cards for the legendary conversion thing! To become even stronger, obviously. Even tho... It's not really needed, but why the hell not, if I can.

at the later levels everything is a bullet sponge and you will have more resistance/life than you need
so less life and more dps makes the game a lot more fun
so you decide do you want to empty clip after clip after clip or run and gun
the game is broken and balance is a joke

name another game where to be the strongest you want to be a mutated near death drug addict

The 'point' of a low life builds is to be a cheat. Bethesda never intended radiation to be a workaround for maintaining low health. Players found an unintended interaction.

Which is funny... Unintended interactions are normally patched out, but not this one? Therefore everyone using it is a cheat. Anyone that awards this post is probably a cheat and selfish coward

Bethesda are too afraid to do anything about it as it is their own devs prefered play style as shown in every dev video shown. Instead they have constantly buffed it and ignored almost every other build.

If you ever needed proof of a ♥♥♥♥ company, low life builds are it.

Bloodied unyielding regular armour at 5% health can tank the imposter sheepsquatch face beam while standing in fire and holding all 3 pylons

Can take 2-4 hits in daily ops from the enemies

Poison tends to be the weakness from enemy sources, requires a heal to out heal it

In power armour you are unkillable at 5% hp... even without legendary effects the base -42% reduction should render you unkillable

what you need to do is look at your build and look at your armour effects
