the peppershaker is actually a VERY weak gun
WHEN they allowed it to have explosive it was PvP insta kill with strangler heart as it applied 4 different stacks of poison (shotgun, heavy, explosive shotgun, explosive heavy) two times each and fired a ton of shots per hit allowing for more poison damage than any player could resist or have health for
THEY did steal that effect with the legendary legacy theft
acid / poison damage is peanuts vs enemies in PvE so its useless there
Since then its only and I repeat ONLY good as
1 - PvP as a strangler heart weapon where each hit can deal 10x16 2x16 twice stacked to players for nearly 400 poison dot (before it was 1600+ from one shot vs players) and when pvp damage is typically capped at 110 per shot this can catch players offguard (its use forces players to be honest and use union, have poison resist 2* effects or use the legendary perkcard)
2 - PvE strictly to cripple high health enemies nearly instantly... and given other guns also can cripple the same enemies nearly instantly but do 100x more damage per shot its mediocre at best
Says it's awarded for Grahm's Meat Cook, which it says is a seasonal event.
