Forbidden knowledge quest (technical data)

IS this quest broken? have a few tech data on me and apparently there's supposed to be a journal entry/quest marker for them but nothing is popping up

Technical Data needs to be brought to the Brotherhood of steel. There should be 2 markers but if not, go in side the observatory, into the main room, up the left hand steps and speak to the scribe standing there....

I heard that it is best to hand it over 1 and a time, so keep 1 and store the other in your stash. Handover the first one, get the reward, collect the second one and collect the reward again.

The rewards are not always great, but sometimes you get an uncommon scribe outfit and other goodies.

Also, you might want to keep all the technical data for now and do this one-by-one turn in at the start of the next season while under the influence of all the XP buffs you can get.

You have to have completed one of the BoS quest lines for tech data to be a thing,

It also has to be in your inventory, not your stash.

Only keep one on your inventory when you turn in because it takes everything from your inventory on a turn in, but doesn’t multiply the rewards. So 1 in gives the same as 10 in at once.

Only thing i can talk to the scribe about is how things are now that shin is in charge, or flirt, or ask about her life as a scribe. no option to turn in anything.

You can turn in the technical data in a wall deposit box in the basement of Camp Venture.
Or hand it over to Scribe Valdez at Fort Atlas.
