Fallout 76 tips

so i just started playing fallout 76 on xbox game pass and i was just looking if anyone has any tips on how to get plans for like power armor im only level 18 got a power armor set but still need to level up a ton but any idea how to get lots of caps thanks.

Excavator Power Armor is available, from the a Quest, look for the Poster Touting the Excavator Power Armor from Garahan Mining. But, make sure if gifted/bought any pieces of Excavator Power Armor, that you have them stored, because you get the plans when you register the armor after crafting it. But, any piece you did not craft and register, you can't learn the plan for. and no plans drop in the world.

Ultracite Power armor, from going to the Scorchbeast Queen, event, plans can drop from event rewards, also, from doing the old Brotherhood of Steel, of Appalachia Quest/Part of the old Main Quest.

Some from Expeditions, with stamps, and weekly rewards. If you complete all quests during an expedition. But that is a while off for you. Same with Daily Ops. as a reward, for completing it, under 8 minutes for best chance. Both, would be best to try after Level 50.

Treasure Maps, can drop Power armor Plans, by the old level requirement map, for different sets, so you have to find the treasure.

Also, do not take the V63 Carbine Rifle, if offered Because, it will auto complete the quest and you will not get the plan for the Rifle, when you, do the quests to, Check out the Vault 63 Vault Door, and level up your caravan workers, to unlock the quest for the rifle, and you have to access the area the plan is stored in, but no plan if you have the rifle, in your inventory anywhere, stash or on you.

Quests, and looking around the map, and of course Caps .

While you level up i suggest you use this guide

Excavator is a good level up power armor, fast to get and it got build in bonuses like, 100+ carry weight better mine ability.
Then upgrade to diffrent power armors later in game.

Fasnacht Day / event will start later today,where you can obtain decoration plans, event masks and weapon boss drop.
Once you have learned a plan or got two of the same masks, you can sell dublicates in your camp vendor.

When I started to play , in my camp i had placed alot of water collectors and sold the warter to vendors.
Easy way to passive earn 1400 caps pr day, wich is the max vendors have pr day.

Mothball your power armor until you're 50.
Do all your shopping at Bunker Station Vending.
Always Group and share perks. (voice chat optional)
Show up to public events even if you don't know what to do.
Use a Crippling Shotgun + Enforcer for 99% above-ground tasks.
Sell your meds or take Traveling Pharmacy. (they weigh more than ammo)
Remember that levels 35-50 will suck so hard there's no shame in getting carried.
