when the shells reload i explode each shell 8 times

It's the game punishing you for using a pump shotgun. You should know better.

EDIT: and while on the subject of glitches with them, the coolest looking skin for the pump shotgun (red rocket) is bugged and will LOCK you into iron sights if you aim too often. Then you're stuck aiming and unable to reload until you put the gun away.
