Last time I looked at the marketplace discord for F76, you could buy the plan for 5,000 caps. There was always dozens of people listing the plan for sell/trade.

I got like 3 or 4 of them so I could give my buddies the plan as well. We had done dozens of encryptid and the plan never dropped for any of us.

I think it drops more frequently than it used to. It never dropped for me, for a couple of years, and in the past two weeks it has dropped for me twice. Also a 3 star Aristocrats Fixer dropped, couldn't believe it.

Prices vary from person to person, I bought my fixer plan for 500 caps last month when I started this new character. I class myself lucky to come across the plan at this price.

I paid 12,000 caps for a Fixer plan a couple of years ago, yes that was too much, but also caps are so easy to replace it doesn't really matter.

From my experience the typical price for it is in the 3.5-5k caps range. It has come down over the years. Just because some players choose to sell it for much lower does not mean the going rate is suddenly overpriced.

Players can sell stuff for whatever they choose you need to have a basic understanding of pricing to know what is above or under the going rate. If you find a bargain then great but you cannot expect that to happen all the time.

I sell fixer plan for 4k caps everyday. It sells for that price and i have players on voice chat saying thanks as it is cheaper than they were told to expect to pay for it.

OP, special new years 50% off deal. You can have one for half price, 2k caps, if you have not got it yet. Will throw in some .45 ammo as well.

Definitely too much but caps are easy to get and if you were happy to pay it and got good use from the weapon the plan allowed you to make, what is the problem?

I have done the same with certain plans and knowingly overpaid but it was better than waiting ages until i got it for cheaper as i was able to use that thing far sooner.

5 years ago when I first bought the game, I must of paid over 8k+ caps to purchase these plans. But since coming back, I see them selling less than 1k-2k caps in many vendors. The weapon itself on the other hand is still commanding 2.5k caps and even more if 3-star.

I got incredibly lucky and found someone giving it away for like 100 caps. I'd usually find them for an absurd amount (e.g., 10,000 caps). I never even use the Fixer 🤣

I dont know how you guys found it so common on player vendors but when I look up on them, I never seen one, neither on those with thousands of levels with dozens of plans

I have found myself selling items, plans and everything else for next to nothing and they still not selling. I come across player vendors selling plans for as little as 5 caps each and just have to pass it up because I simply don't have the room to store it all.

One thing I don't see being sold is the hunters coat and winter coats or if I do, they selling for 30k caps or more.
