Do XP boosts stack from consumables?
Could I eat cranberry relish, brain fungus soup, meat stew, cobbler, and have them stack at the same time? That would be cool.

Planning the XP grind for the next double XP event

No, just one food XP boost at a time.

You can however stack a lot from different sources, I'm sure someone will post the full list, but among these are:

Lunchboxes (up to 4 at once)
Well Rested bonus from sleeping
Every point of INT gives a 2% (even 'virtual' points you can have above the 15 S.P.E.C.I.A.L. limit, up to a certain point like from drugs and equipment bonuses)

And there are others still, like if you have the "Brother Steven" or whatshisname lite ally, he gives a fat bonus once per day.

Most of these stack with each other but can be overridden by other sources - the Brother Steven for example I *think* gets overridden by the Mothman event where you get the bonus at the end from interacting with the Mothman.

So either wait for someone to post a complete list or, you know, google it.

Edit: Words

Nope, just one XP-buff at a time. But you can have INT-buff with XP-buff, that helps.
EDIT. Like Sirius said, one food based XP-buff, it does stack with Wise Mothman XP-buff if the event happens to trigger.

of the 4 you've listed, you can have the brain fungus soup and any one of the others. The Brain Fungus soup is an intelligence boost, not XP, so it's counted separately, but won't stack with things like Broiled Scorchbeast brain and Brain Bombs. But, there are mutation factors that can increase the benefits from these from Herbivore or Carnivore(you can't have both for what should be obvious reasons). Then meds are a separate category, so you can get some more from various forms of Mentats. Lastly there's lunchboxes, when opened, they give everyone in the area a 25% xp boost, this one can stack up to 4 times.

Plus sleeping in your bed, and if you have the chance to commune with the mothman.

Suggested Munchies
Cranberry Relish +Massive exp (=12 points of int worth)
Gourd Soup +Large Perception (+7.5 easy to make, helps vats accuracy)
Brain Bombs +Massive Intelligence (11.25 points)
Company Tea +Massive AP regen (37.5 = 8 pieces of powered armour = instant ap regen after cooldown)
Blight Soup +Massive crit (~187% I'd have to look now that its been buffed)
Tato juice +Large ap (+37.5? also helps ap regen)
Steeped Fern Flower Tea +Large str (+7.5, carry weight buff of 37.5 pounds)
You CAN do luck but it won't be a breakpoint, you CAN do others but they aren't super helpful

Suggested Mutations
Egg Head (bonus intelligence)
Herd Mentality (bonus stats, you are always on a team)
Eagle Eyes (bonus crit)
Bird Bones (helps prevent fall damage)
Marsupial (game changer)
Adrenal Reaction (extra 40-50% damage
Speed Demon (20% movespeed is the cap)
Scaly Skin (you already have tons of ap)
Herbivore (Massive buff to food)
Bonus - Empath = helps allies, IF you and an ally have it its a net positive for everyone, if only an ally has it is a massive net positive for you :P

Suggested Armour
Secret Service chest - Jetpack
Rest is whatever, but the same type of armour is the gold standard

Recommended Guns
Railways (Quad Explosive is king)
Fixers
Plasma Caster
Enclave Plasma
Gauss Shotguns
Teslas (Quad faster fire)
Two-Shot Grenade Launchers (Nuka Launcher is absurd)
Grenades (IIRC nuka quantum has the biggest aoe?)

Recommended Perks
Any weight reduction (-90% weight ones) that you benefit from, I also recommend the backpack with a 3* weight reduction one
Defensive ones - Blocker, Fireproof, Dodgy, Richochet, Serendipity, Nerd Rage
Exp bonus ones - Night person, Inspirational
QoL - 1 in concentrated fire, 1 in gun fu, 3 chem fiend, 1 radicool, 1 escape artist, 1 curator
Necessary - 1 strange in numbers, 2 starched genes
Good idea - 3 class freak (mitigates downsides of mutations, but you can bypass with serums or just not caring)

20 Base int (15 base intelligence + max intelligence legendary perk card being 'wasted' for the ~15% exp gain))
15 Unyielding prefix effect
+5 +1 int armour major effect
+5 berry mentats (you can farm 2000-6000 an hour, learn it, do it once and be set forever)
+Live and Love 3 magazine (for the 50% food bonus)
+11.25 from brain bombs
+2 from the season 9 race machine
+3 Casual shielded underarmor - https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Shielded_lining
+4 team
+3 night person [at night]
Egghead +6
Herd mentality +2
Marsupial Serum (negated loss)
Strange in numbers +2
+2 int bobblehead
+5% Season 11 Cranberry Ally buff
+5% Season 12 Ally buff

Base intelligence
20+15+5+5+11.25+2+3+4+3+6+2+2+2 = 80.25 x3.03 = 243.1575%
+ 100% (base exp) = 343.1575%

Additive Exp bonuses
+5% sleep (easy to get)
+5% lighthouse (IMO not worth it)
+15% inspirational (easy to get)
+100% lunchbox (easy to get)
+37.5% cranberry relish (easy to get)
=515.6565% exp

x2 exp weekend

= 1031.315% exp

Overkill on a double exp weekend to reach 4,000 exp per kill vs supermutants (exp cap) helpful regularly to get scoreboard points easy
Does make the gulpers and the rad rumble ghouls just pour out their experience points.

OR
grenade westtek

OR
look up angry turtles exp stacking they can get 4k exp per kill through a trick now apparently

Very very useful. Will definitely take the XP and INT buffs into consideration. Not a big VATS guy though. It takes way longer for me to kill in VATS than just aim and shoot. Anytime I VATS with concentrated fire it auto-targets the torso everytime and I have to shift through body parts until it gets to the head and gets tedious.

The people in the youtube videos make it look so easy, VATS already on head, click, dead enemy.

Vats is actually much faster to kill with a solid build. Many perks and legendary effects exist to just make Vats the far superior option. The reason you are not getting the head to show up on next target is that you must have targeted something in Vats that did not have a head.

When you target a grenade or something without a head it will default to torso for next target. If you are facing enemies all with a head it will stay on head for every next target after you have set it to head.
