Gatling plasma vs .50 machine gun

I've loved using the gatling plasma for the longest time, despite it's horrible accuracy and windup. But ever since I got my AA .50 machine gun, the ease of use is incredibly noticeable.

I've been carrying the plasma as a backup since, but I'm wondering if it's even worth keeping one with better rolls.

So I'm asking anyone with more experience. Is the gatling plasma worth it late game?

I my self never cared for the gat's .. any of them due to the slow wind up, like you say. I happened to get a quad, exp. .50 and have used it most of my game play. Slightly better then the 'Final Word' but either, I find great weapons. I've used both of them and did quite well with both. The next one on my list would be the 5mm gat... no wind up needed there either and very good dps. to boot.

I want to like the LMG as well, but crafting ammo for it is insanely expensive. Which really sucks because it's a fun weapon to use.

I've tried the 5mm gatling a long time ago so I don't have a solid option on it yet. When I get one with decent rolls, I'll definitely give it a shot.
