You don't "win" anything by paying up, so stop that nonsense please.
It's "pay for convenience", which is a very different concept.
Agreed on this part. I would go with "Ok game", but opinions.
I would say wonderful devs maddeningly beholden to a horrible system of corporate prerogatives - but agree to disagree.
Compared to what it could be? "Ok" is generous. Compared to industry competitors? It's amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnTdfA5aTpY
Cutting features that were the core of the franchise (Stash) to sell them with a subscription is really bad design.
Stop talking non-sense. There is no "Pay for convenience". Thats straight P2W. Because the thing you win is Time. Something no one will give you back.
I still put the same amount of hours into the game that I would if I didn't have FO1st. And tbh, I have FO1st for the cosmetics. The scrap box is just a bonus because I'm a loot goblin and it feeds my need to pick up everything that isn't nailed down. Could I survive without it? Sure. Anyone can. Scrap box is secondary to me in terms of what I get for paying for FO1st.
Am I "winning"? I dunno. I don't feel like I've won anything. All I'm doing is getting what I paid for.
Given the current scorboard change to seasonal tickets with most rewards locked by Subscription... I can no longer say "follow your own advice" which was my knee-jerk reaction. The subscription for a very long time was indeed "Pay for convenience and bonuses".
For the time being seasonal 1st implementation means that to gain the basic rewards and functions of the game you now have to subscribe.
It is "Pay to Play" - and no, not "Purchase to Play" with a now necessary subscription. The design of the previous scoreboards made it clear in illustration that rewards just for playing for numerous, and 1st benefits extra . Now half are locked.
1st is quite terrible.
Ah, thats my guys, is a type of sheep i was talking about.
Delusional, defensive and lack of understanding other sides.
**
Yes, a lack of understanding for how this is awful for non-subscribers since the change in score-season-implementation is going to be present.
Which is legit. If you love the game enough to have that much junk you might want to look at the benefits of the sub for it's actual benefits; scrap box extra bonus.
What I'm having issues with is that the subscription is being shoved pretty hard with the wave of f2p codes from TV show watchers - a blatant money grab without improving the base game to keep those players, a money funnel to grab as much as possible while leaving just about every former client with a bad taste in their mouth if not avid disdain for Bethesda.
While I don't care either way, if they were to make it part of the base game they would see an increase in players buying scrapkits and/or weight boosters.
They could move one scummy practise to another... Make more overall with many smaller transactions than fewer large ones (though bank fees may be a factor).
You hear that "monetization manager"? Free advice. /s
while they're at it make a box that can hold infinite of something with no changing factors
like only armour and weapons should take up stash weight as they cant keep track of what upgrades and rolls people have on mass butt everything else will always have the same ID
Yes, clearly anyone who disagrees with you even a little bit is delusional.
