Shelters and lack of own camp items

They really need to add option of placing items like fridge and other items like that even as a decorative item becouse you cant even build a kitchen or bathroom and its kinda sad

My kitchen furnitures, oven and things for bathroom like toilette, shower, sink work in my shelters? Only "producing items" don't work in shelters ... which yes, is kind of sad, cause we now have this pretty outdoor "summer camp", there would plants and seed fit perfect in the landscape.

i have sink that gives water and sadly cant put and i dont any other if there is any, the summer camp is a reason why ima mad about it.

U can't place any camp items that produce something inside shelter. Since it doesn't exist while u outside of it unlike your camp. It's a schrodinger shelter

Not to mention that there even already are a few items that work like that.

I personally know about the water wheel generator that exists as a non-power generator copy (and while this is nothing to do with resources and you generally can put generators in shelters, it's still an item that has a decorative copy built in) and the moth sanctuary I think you can place as deco.

Wouldn't be surprised if there aren't more I'm just not aware of.

But I would be surprised if these incompetent fumblers even could retroactively create copies of old items without breaking whole new questlines or crafting recipes, and even more surprised if they actually wanted to in the first place.

My cynical butt predicts that the best you can hope for is more future items coming with deco copies. Maybe.

Yeah, I don't really understand the point of shelters at all. Aside the art/deco side for some people.

shelter are kinda immune to nukes and enemy npcs though. ive placed some doors next to my camp in the new area so ppl have some tables to scrap with or to cook but otherwise yea id love to camp there fully.
