stuck in eye of the storm with hugo

i have to kill Hugo, but at first attempt he f****me up so i had to quit. i restarted, went home and took my PA heavy gunner Set to f**** him up but now i can´t get into the building anymore on the laserdoors. is there any solution?

If you changed characters and not just perks, you will need to do the quest line over again.

i didnt changed my char. i just changed my perks and amor/weapon. i have the questlinedot in the building but i cant get in anymore because of the laserdoors. is there a way to start the quest again?

i've run into the exact same issue and i'm not sure what to do either- same character and everything. I can get into the weather station, but the laser doors are blocking me from re-entering the room we fight Hugo in.

Same issue - went into the fight unprepared, so I quit out. Now I can't get back in. Same character, some perks changed. What to do?? Door glitch not working for me (PS5)

Good thing it was not like Real life and just a game. Some lessons you only get to learn once. The Overseer says this when you first start leaving the Vault and wonder around.

This quest is so boring and buggy AF. If you don't get stuck in the laser doors or with Hugo infinite health. Who at Bethesda thought this was a good quest???
