Game freezes during loading since update?
I almost had no issues with running the game but since the update, my game froze first launch this morning, and it froze 3 times yesterday.
Did we really trade functionality for the worst skins to ever be dropped since the game started?

I was actually looking to hear if anyone else started getting that issue with the newest update. Every game has bugs but ones that won't allow you to launch the game are actually worth complaining about.

I've had the same issue. I was able to get in once, but the past 5 other times I have tried to start Fallout 76, it freezes on the "Signing in" screen. The cursor cannot move. I can Alt+Tab out of it, and everything else is fine. The CPU is not working on Fallout 76 past 1% anymore. No matter how long I wait, it will not sign in.

Also, if you wait 5+ minutes at the sign in screen, it will eventually say:

"
Vault-Tec engineers are currently working on getting our servers back online!
(Failed Backend) Provide this code to Fallout 76 support for more information.

"

I tried deleting my whole computer, resetting to factory defaults, and reinstalling Fallout 76. It still did not help.
I went to Bethesda and filled out a ticket. Hopefully that helps!

Update: now, after clicking OK on the:

"
Vault-Tec engineers are currently working on getting our servers back online!
(Failed Backend) Provide this code to Fallout 76 support for more information.
[4:6:2001]
"

I clicked again to sign in and it worked.
If I have to time out for my first sign in every time just to get into Fallout76, that's a lot, but hopefully they get the hiccup resolved in a new patch.

This is exactly what's happening to me. I ctrl+alt+del before I get any sort of error messages, but once I [Press Any Button] at the start then it freezes sometimes. Not everytime, but often enough for it to become frustrating.
Yesterday it crashed while I was fast travelling to my base in Watoga but I could still hear my in-game party chat. The whole conversation and the game crashed. Lol it was weird.
