Nukes in Skyline

Here i am minding my own business exploring Skyline. Suddenly the announcement goes off about an incoming nuclear strike and to get to a safe distance. So I immediately open the map to see if im in the nuke area. No red circle anywhere in skyline. I proceed to explore since im not the 1 getting nuked. WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!! The nuke landed right on me and triggered the boss fight in skyline.

That is not cool and needs to get fixed ASAP!!!!! IF someone is nuking skyline there needs to be a red nuke circle. Fix it please.

It is working as intended and there's nothing to fix. When you nuke any location in Skyline Valley the nuke doesn't hit the ground, it hits the cloud vortex and explodes high up in the air triggering the storm that starts the event. there's no nuke zone due that.

Well looks like scorchbeast queen is going to happen a lot less now

At least for a while, but I'm pretty sure it'll get back to about same levels. Scorched Earth is still the king of the nuke events and after people have farmed all new drops from Neurological Warfare they will get back to nuking the Queen. :)

If you're in the zone you'll hear a constant warning sound. It can be faint, but you'll know it if you hear it.

I dont think so, Queen is just one Legendary, and not even 100% a three star one, so far the new event never dropped anything less then 3x 3 Star legendarys.

I was actually thinking arent there missions that have you engage with the queen? if so it might be harder to do if nobody is there to help. Or to even have someone else drop a nuke because maybe they cant yet? Either way ill wait until that time comes.

People will still do the queen if someone quest nukes there. Its treasury notes after all.
But ye, until people get most/all of the new items, random nukes will be less likely there

If you have the mini weather station down in new area its always blue sky's in your camp, no red skies ever

So if I know the Plan for this can I just give it to the LOST and help them out. Kinda cut the Quest shorter. Can have Chally take it down there for me.

If only haha, but its nice never having the dark crimson/orange colours (i am colourblind may be off on the dark colours) after nuke hits at camp

I was just was on a server that did 2 SBQ events back to back after the new nuke event. It has been less than normal but i am sure it will go back to some close to normal after a while.

Could put up a camp close by the Vault and sell tickets to see the clear sky.
