Why does my weapon damage decrease when equiping it
Every time i make a new build and try to equip a new weapon the damage decreases, Is there a fix for this?

What do you mean by decrease? The displayed damage number in the pipboy or the damage number shown dealt to the enemy?

Perhaps you're describing a previous weapon having a higher damage increase % than the one you were equipping. It's common to see when swapping from a bloodied weapon to a non-bloodied.

Do you have a bloodied / damage increasing weapon equipped

Then look at a non damage increasing weapon then equip the non damage increasing one?

Yup, that's the prefix damage bonus glitch in the pipboy - the bonus damage applied is based off the currently equipped weapon and its prefixes I think.

You don't have to. Just use a weapon with a better damage % prefix than the one you're equipping, same result.
