So i finished the main quest from Skyline Valley update.
It's really bad. Huh.. i don't even know what to add really. The ending was extremely blant and dull. Nothing was achieved. Nothing was done. Nothing changed. What was it all for? Why would they even give you options there to pick? They don't do anything.

The 79 vault from Wastelanders changed EVERYTHING. Every aspect of the game pretty much. It changed world and lore, it made some marks on the game progression and world.

Skyline Valley main quest is just blant and dull uninspired placeholder. When i finished last mission, it took me about 15 minutes to make sure that this was it. This is all there is. All quest were trash. Like.. kill that, bring that, press that and listen to very badly written dialogs. Not a single skill check in the story that could alter anything, which was really surprising considering how Wastelanders introduced this mechanic in the first place.

So essentially i finished main quest line only to get shiny toys and that's about it. There was no substance. Hell, i still have no clue why or how the storm deflects nuclear attack, i was assuming this would be explained during quest line, but no. This makes no sense whatsoever. There are a lot of places on the map that we still can't access. There is a bunker facility of some sort close to Vault 63 and you can't access it. In fact i was shocked when i realized that somehow all these places were not used by main quest line. So i guess that's for a future content?

Am i missing something? Are there some hidden quests? Some hidden treasures? Some hidden plote? Some lore that would explain what the actual f is going on with this nuclear attack deflection. That ♥♥♥♥ is so ridiculous you start questioning how that ♥♥♥♥ even passed. If this machine can deflect nuclear blast, it could've been massed and used to protect most important regions of country. Also why those robots activates only after a blast when there is already a DEFCON 1 protocol active all over the country?

Why would Vault-tech ever built 63 vault if they already planned to use 76 as a measure to get control of nuclear silos?

Why the enemies are so poorly written from a lore perspective? Are we supposed to believe that there was over 1,000,000 of vault dwellers and all perished and became lost? We can kill this amount of lost in about a week.

Help me..

My character that chose the walk away option keeps running into 1hp Lost. I'm not sure if it's related to the option.

But one conversation with Hugo really bugged me. The one about the boat. I picked an option and he basically said humour him and assume the opposite... WTF... why even have an option if you are forced into a set conversation?

Sadly complex conversations aren't part of the current BGS's 'RPG' plan.

Yeah sad it is so scripted and linear.

Same reason i am finding it very hard to get back into Starfield is how piss poor the dialogue is. Either conversations have options that are so ridiculously bad and inappropriate for the situation or certain obvious options in some situations are not even present.

Oh but it has x times the amount of dialogue compared to Skyrim. Woo Hoo. Doesn't mean anything if it is largely redundant.

Vault 63 was not built to get control of nuclear silos! It's more like a project for a rich person(Hugo) because he purchased much of the land around Shenandoah Park
And if the series is cannon Vault-tech sold alot of vaults for rich peoples to do whatever they want
My bad. I needed to use better words to describe the problem with inconsistency. The 76 Vault was meant to get control of nuclear silos. That much we know. The question is, why would Vault-Tech need any other vault and not just any but a vault with over 1,000,000 of people in the very same region where they built Vault 76. I understand the idea of selling franchise to some rich dude on the board, but they would never allowed to anyone have their "silly experiments" in the same region where Vault-Tech planned to take control of nuclear silos. The risks are too high. The "rich guy" could've just used people to turn them into army (which he actually did) and whole plan would be ♥♥♥♥♥♥. I am sure Vault-Tech would foreseen this.

There is a very good reason why Vault 76 and 79 were the only control vaults in the entire region (before this update). That's because people from these vaults were supposed to control nukes and then secure money to reastablish civilization after war. Something like Vault 63 should've been built anywhere but not in the Appalachia. The fact that it was built in Appalachia doesn't make any sense because it contradicts to Vault-Tech plans on this entire region after war.

OK bro, you are not out yet. Let me help you. Vault 63 can be a product of another faction of Vault-Tec. Not everything is decided by the Board, remember Mr. House's "Yes Man" robot? The Board has Vault 76 and Vault 79 (when I haven't found where 79 is...) to control the nuclear bomb. But other factions think that they are the real "kings" in the coming new world. So don't think of Vault 63 as a Vault controlled by Vault Tec.

From Google Translate (but I checked the text and it's still fluent)

Yep that's why I don't play cashout 76 anymore and mod makers make better content for the Fallout games too.
