find plans to build this object

I am only level 9 and have a tinkerers workshop but cant build it as it says 'find plans to build this object' but I payed 150 for a plan. Any help please?

You need to read the plan. Open the pipboy and find it under notes and then read it.

Did you read the plan after buying it? If not check your Pip-Boy's Notes-tab.

As others are saying. You have to read it. Anytime you get a plan you have to either go to pip boy and if you got it recently its gonna be in the "new" category and if not you will always find it in notes beginning with P so you will have to scroll for a while. If you already learned the plan and you got a duplicate, its gonna be on the very bottom of notes category. Those you can either drop, donate or put them on sale in your vendor.
I would suggest sitcking to quests and getting all those plans for free. You will also find a lot on the way on shelves etc etc.
When you are gonna complete most main quests and a lot of side quests you should have a lot of plans and at that point you can use your caps to swing by player vendors and buy some plans and if that wont do it for you, just visit whitespring. There are way too many vendors with all types of stuff so whatever is missing you can get it there.

A hot tip, if you are ever gonna browse player vendors, try to join a team they are in. Traveling to their camp while in team will let you tp to them for free instead of wasting caps.
Either that or become their friend which will let you tp to your friend for free as well.

It’s possible they have one of the atom shop tinkers benches. They may require knowledge of the stock tinkers benches before they can craft the skin.

Thank you all I needed to read the plan and now have it built. I bought the plan from a vendor, needlessly as I have 2 plans now.
