DID ANYONE TEST HUGO FIGHT, AT ALL????

kill him 10 time, all my weapon broke, most of the time get close then goe back to full HP, then get to second stage, kill him once, he gets back up changes back to first guy with close on and melee wepaon but this time hits dont register... at all no matter what i did i couldnt hit him, is this the normal thing? i kinda feel like its not, i just had to quit there nothing i can do.

Pretty sure he is meant to go down and come back several times as that is what i had when i did it. Was 3 times i think for me but he was easy to take down. Definitely was not 10 times if that was genuinely your experience.

it was he get a little of damage and reset hp i was like, oh ok guy has some stims or something but it was instant full hp randomly, and i killed him 10 times, then his second stages happen, i was like what the ♥♥♥♥, then he died, without insta heal, only for him to change back into his first set of cloths and the second stages melee weapon, and hit would no longer register, did i miss something? was i meant turn something off or?

Knock him down 3 times. On the last knock down if you don't interact with him in time he'll levitate and regenerate health.

The interaction hit E may have bugged out, happened for me. Hit E on him anyway and it should open up the end decision conversation.

Just don't do what I did... I interacted with him while he was levitating and regenerating. It bugged the conversation as he had to respawn in his clothes on the other side of the room. Good 'ol Bethesda pathing couldn't get him to the conversation...

The fight is definitely bugged. After downing him a few times I got to the point in the quest where I had to "decide his fate" and he just got back up and started attacking me again, and I couldn't damage him at all. I had to run away and reset him before I could interact with him to progress the quest.

same what happen here but ireconnect and able to finish the quest

I did that one last night. He regenerated health 3 times then surrendered.
I gave up on guns and kept whacking him in the face with a branding iron.
Hit him so hard he was driven into the wall at one stage.
He's now in prison.

He was bugged for me too after the fight (drop down his hp to 1% two times) he just keep shooting me without taking any dmg i just log out and log in again and i found him near the other ghoul and ready to accept the quest

Sometimes you just can't keep a Good Man down. You see Dwellers at events who die but bounce right back up time after time, whats up with that.

I read this an hour ago, and now was at Hugo fight, it took me some minutes to take him down as my char is no high damage, and i screamed when the end dialogue where i had to chose the faith bugged out, why bethesda.

I had to alt-F4 and relaunch, i have no clue why the dialogue bugs out so often for me, maybe i hit space too fast.

It looked like the power pylons regen him if he “dies” near it. His “regen” may be capped to 3x.

Hugo has 3? phases. After the last phase, you need to speak to him. If he's still hostile, climb to the top of the area and try to hide and break combat. Then he will revert back to passive and will be able to be spoken to.

i leanr this from reading everyone esle expraince, THIS WAS NOT MY MINE THO, keep getting insta heal killed him 10 times, for me only to find out he as a second stage, killed him once again then get got up, after the quest stage changed and became inisnable being unable to take hits from me.
