Jet Pack Issues

Since update, jet packs no longer work correctly.
Jet Packs have a weak thrust.
Jet Packs drain AP at an extreme rate.
Jet Packs now only provide upward thrust. No matter how much AP, can not fly over anything.

Tried server hopping. Doesn't work.
Tried taking it off, even put it in stash, server hopped. Then put it back on. Zip, Zero, Nada.

I just can't figure why it's draining AP at such an extreme rate.

Give an idea, my camp, have 2 buildings about 1 and a half full floors apart, Unable to use jet pack to go between them now. AP drops that fast.

Is there a perk card that is bugged on AP? Dunno, I heard a few months ago during the previous patch

Having the same issue with my jetpack. I used to get 5-6 seconds of full burn now I am barely getting 1-2 seconds.

Apparently they boost you in the direction you are looking, or so I read. I don't use them.

I also noticed this. If it wasn't for my Marsupial and Bird Bones, I wouldn't be able to get anywhere.

take your Armour item off with the jet pack and put back on it works for me all the time and this is not a new bug been around for awhile

I made 5 more chest pieces (secret service & marine armor), with jet packs on them. Didn't work.
I tried with all of my different power armors (total PA frames 8). Didn't work.
I took off all jet pack pieces from normal and PA's, switched servers 4 times (even tried private server). Didn't work.

AP is draining so fast, even with Nuka Quantum's being spammed off the fav wheel. And using Nuka Quantum candy. And every time I use the jet pack, even when running. Instantly stops forward motion. Like as soon as I hit the jet pack, I'm in mud. And thrusting straight up. That's even become a joke.

FYI over 5,000 hours in 76. Level 1,091. This AP drain is something I'v never seen before. Heard others talk about, but until now. I'v never had this bug. Honestly I'm confused. Because it started after the update yesterday.

I've been playing around with jetpacks after the update.
I play third person view.
There seems to be a change in the way they work.
If you want to increase your height and therefore travel distance look up while tapping the jetpacking button.
If you look down you drop like a stone.

I can not believe it. That works. And it's the most ridiculous thing I'v seen.
It's going to make using the jet pack a testy bit of flying.

But you are correct. And Thank You. I can't believe they tied the jet pack to where you are looking. Totally ridiculous. LMAO

I played around a bit more on my other account that has higher level characters.
They can reach new heights with the way it works at the moment.
Just needs a slight change to technique.
Only look down between thrusts if you need to see where you are.
