Lightweight/ armskeeper drop chances?
Feels like I can craft a lot of legendary mods nowadays but two of the most convenient ones to have (lightweight and armskeeper) continue to elude me. They would make my life a whole lot easier and it can't be coincidence that I haven't learned either of them yet. Wondering if anyone else has experienced my suffering against a low drop rate for these or if there's an efficient way to target-farm/scrap for these ones specifically?

1%

its all 1%

that doesn't mean you learn it in scrapping 100

its just that on average 1% of the 100 players who scrap one will learn it

You might need to scrap 500 - 1,000 - 10,000 - 100,000 - 1,000,000

Even at a million you would expect a few unlucky fo76 players to hit that mark

Nothing really helps BUT

In the next patch you can scrap modules for a chance to learn the plan so you'd be able to buy them in bulk and scrap them
Just cuz it peaked my interest, why are u desired lightweight armor? Do u prefer the lower weight in stash(which is just the armor itself, not mods attached to said armor, still though, is a solid reduction)

or do u think the 'invisibility' is 'neat'(From the mutation) -cuz... ya that is all it is, a neato skin that makes zero difference in game.(Mobs still see you, and weight of armor, in 76, does NOT affect stealth chances, only the 'type' of armor - ie if its light, medium, or heavy.)

I was not aware of that effect. Im actually referring to the lightweight 3 star weapon mod for 90% reduction. And the armskeepers is the 20% weapon weight reduction mod that can go on armor. Im not interested in lightweight armor if thats what you are referring to

The Lightweight mod is for 90% weapon weight reduction and the "Weightless" mod is to reduce the weight of armor pieces.

Yeah i learned lightweight I'm struggling for thru hiker,

I know thru hikers lol, its useful ATM on power armor for me but i want lightweight for weapons more than anything
I didn't get the lightweight perk until I started crafting head hunter scythes. My first character, it took nearly 200 of them before I learned it. The second character, to took about 50. With super duper active, you'll make about 12 scythes for each 10 crafted.
to all who corrected me, ty I did not consider that (which I should cuz I was one of those pushing for the supreme-ness of the weapon -90% lol)

Sorry, should not have assumed both were armor mods (my bad)

Haha all good. Glad you're also a fan of the lightweight way, i know there's better stuff in that slot but until i finish the possum badges and leveling some legendary perks, having my weapons be universally 90% lighter will be hugely helpful

Okay, thats actually solid intel, I know you said it took a lot of tries but until now, i wasn't aware of any legendary weapons with lightweight on as a static perk other than crowd control fron EN. I wasn't playing during the skyline debut so i missed the pass action, but ive been grinding expeditions hard so im sure ive got the stamps to buy that ish from giuseppe. Fingers crossed I get some actions. Ty for the info!
