They had a Silicon Valley map expansion and it was a ghost town. All the main events were still in the San Francisco map.
What would have made The Pitt fun is to treat it like a workshop. Build a temporary defence for The Penn with junk scavenged in The Pitt.
Throw Trogs at the walls till they break.
except even daily ops dont have maps and they can get confusing at times
its apart of the deal
heck its only realy an issue the first few times doing it
sounds like you and your friends like to complain about random bs.
but hey this screams ' haters only ' so meh doubt ill be posting in hear again.
Who said anything about hating? Many of us think they should expand the maps, like in FO4.
You came into this thread to spread your own brand of vomit.
You had your speech prepared before you clicked on the thread.
No hate, just a suggestion, move along troll.
Bethesda keeps adding lame free "updates" which nobody likes. They just waste resources.
Instead of several lame "updates" throughout a year, it's better to add one new map or a region.
Pitt could have been an excellent update if it is a region that we can explore freely.
Nobody cares for Expeditions. They are very tedious and boring. Nobody plays Expeditions except for Score - just like Daily Ops.
1 slot for legendary perk 10 special points and armor & weapons upgrade to 60 lv.
definetly worth 20E wich isn't bad not for player nor for deweloper.
If this game did not have the Fallout sticker on it, it would be obvious.
A new map separated from the main one? Nope, no way.
That is how you create walls between your players, if you have to travel to one map to know what events are going on that will make an already not so crowded world in separated even-less-crowded worlds.
There has been many changes in the past 4 years on the map, hell when I started playing there were no humans NPC ^^ Settlements have been added, places I looted back then are inhabited now.
The main map has evolved, and now I agree it should also grow in size, but not at the cost of a rift between players.
LOL Dude, seriously? I've been reading about this "no new map because player base split" BS for quite some time now. This is a complete nonsense.
In fact, Expeditions did just that. With The Pitt you basically have 4 or even 8 players on Expeditions doing Union Dues or From Ashes to Fire for a very long time, separated from the rest of the players on the same server. ON THE SAME SERVER.
If Bethesda would make a new map (although it won't), and if that map is separated from the main map, players on that new map would be on the same server/world. But they wouldn't occupy the server on which are other players on the main map, and so they wouldn't be INACTIVE and SEPARATED for a long time like players who are in Expeditions.
For example. when Eviction Notice pops up, and you have 4 players in Expeditions, that event will surely fail because those 4 players are inactive for the rest of the server.
So please, stop talking nonsense about "playerbase split" with new map.
There is no need to be aggressive like this, especially just to express an opinion.
You are talking about 4 or 8 players that go "off-map" for what, 30 minutes, an hour tops? Not very different than 4 or 8 solo players doing their main quest in terms of "missing players" ^^
Here, we are talking about making a new expansion, where all the good loot and therefore all high leveled/seasoned players (or power xp levelers) are off-map constantly... Not the same thing as Expeditions by definition.
Being on the same server has no meaning in this. You can be on the same server on different maps, you won't cross each other or interact in any way...
See, discussion with no aggression ;)
