cant repair some items, mostly legendary ones

so after running away from at lev 30 mob (im lev 20) i see my weps and amour are all broken. i fix a few of them but others refuse to be fixed, even tho i know i got the items for it (im a hoarder)

so i wondering, if a legendary item is 100% broken cant it be fixed? or is it that caz i cant make said items (shotgun, etc) i cant rapair them? if not, how do i fix them? i have moved all my junk from my inventory to my storage and back and the "workbench repair" is still greyed out.

*edit* while typing this is cheak back and for some reason i can fix one of my legendary guns (ingame im just in my repair station). is this one of the many "game cant funny load this, gatta exit and re enter to hope it gets fixed" bugs?

Yes, something wrong if you have the materials to repair it but it won't let you do it. You should always be able to repair weapons and armour.

I think i have run across this bug before a long time ago. Needed to quit and restart in order for repair option to show up.

have yet to run into this one keep us updated if it gets resolved aside from restarting the game try taking the items off before repairing just a thought to try

with several characters and a lot of game time I#venever experienced such a bug.

More likely you miss some junk forrepairs, level 30 can be short of screws, springs, nuclear material.

the list of neeedd Materials can be long so that you have to scroll down to see it completly.

That's also where you start needing ballistic fiber for armor repairs.

it would be cool if they showed the list of needed materials, even if your missing some. to bad you only see the list when you have all the needed materials and can fix the item, making it kind of not needed....

Is some of the junk necessary somehow stored inaccessibly, for instance on display?

can you be more specific what items (gun, shotgun) you cn't repair?

I don't use shotties but I will try to find out what is needed for repairs (I guess adhessive, steel, aluminium... nothing to exotic)

However, you can join tem for the Scorche Erth event but you have to do 1000 damage to the SBQ to get 4 repair kits, but might be worth trying.

isn't that team requiment ?
i mean op can just join team dealing dmg and it should give him rewards like in any other situation after patch with shared exp & loot.

Think it me not having the items needed. Know I was low on screws and after getting some I could fix some items

Ones again this is a problem that shouldn't be a thing. Would be cool if they told you what junk/items you need to fix amour/weapons without looking it up. Right now it's a crapshoot on knowing what items you need

I've asked you what specific item we are talking and you didn't tell,so you and Bethesda have something in common :)

But you are right, afaik the repair Option is greyed out and you can't see the list that is visible if you have have all the resourcess needed.

It is different for CAMP repairs.

btw, could be that the item is higher lvl hence "not accessble" yet?
Just thinking what else could be wrong, I'm not pretending there is shortage of bugs but your description doesn't sound like one.

Just thinking what else could be wrong, I'm not pretending there is shortage of bugs but your description doesn't sound like one.

if you look at my time stamps for when i posted and that theres 12ish hrs apart you could guess why i didnt respond, being i did them before work and when i went to bed, so i didnt have enough time to read tho everyone posts

and i have already said what i was tryin to fix, it being a shotgun (a pump to be exact). think its problem was the lack of screws and aluminium. rmemeber after picking up soem cansi could fix it. still dosnt explain that after i waited for 20 mins or so on the reapir screen it allowed me to fix said time...

the other items are *booting up game to see* metal amour and combat amour. i think for them i may be low in tin or, as i said above, aluminum. think thats weird by all the cans i pick up all the time...
