Fallout 76
Where can I get a Deathclaw Gauntlet?
Where do you have the best luck finding them? I am trying loot paths but having no luck. Trying to find the plan but I doubt I can craft it when I do. Saw one person selling a 3 star Bloodied for 7.5k. Probably a good price but am broke.

If you wanna solo it Mooman's advice is, as is frequently the case, probably the best advice.

The funny part of this is I don't actually want to solo it. I'll usually go and let the timer run down, clearing the zone can yield a few legendarys.

If no one shows I'll start it intending to fail and just collect Radkelp for next run. I'll intentionally keep everything level 0 so if anyone shows up late when the robots respawn they'll instantly kill the insects and fail the event (yeah, I can be petty like that).

But if no one shows I've noticed the flying guys to last fairly well. It's a combination of wonky hitboxes, not many ranged opponents and A.I. turning off if no players are nearby (plus solo spawns less mobs overall).

You don't have to kill the Alpha, just outlast. It can be a tough creature solo and dying after the event can bug out respawn so ignore it and "Get out!".

Go to each item spawn spot, kill creatures and loot the radkelp/sludge/radstag meat, kill the molerats that pop up for more sludge, use the gathering perks
ah. Thanks. That helps, I think.

heh. Maybe some day. I don't think any of my characters have good enough gear for that currently.

I saw the plans for it at one of the whitesprings vendors earlier, though if it's this much trouble may as well just grind for the bear fists(I forget the proper name) while you look, the plans for that are a rare reward from the event where you feed/protect the creatures(don't remember that name either, been an age since I bothered trying to get it done)

Or, get rep up with foundation and grab the gauntlet, which is probably the best unarmed weapon, since you get 75% armour pen with a perk, the powerfist's bonus is next to non-existent.
I guess it's time to go shopping on whitesprings. I only got around 400 caps though, lol.

Head up around the area east of Crater, hunt as many radstag and yao guai as you can, then sell the meat. Thru Hiker will reduce the weight of the meat, but you're fine overweight just lugging it back to crater to sell. This isn't effective for high level cap grind, but it's great in your situation. Shouldn't take you more than an hour, probably half that. I don't remember exactly but I think you'll be looking at plan in the 1.5-2k cap range depending on your charisma and whether you pop on Hard Bargain (charisma perk) and some grape mentats right before buying it.

Best of luck, post back if you find yourself in need :tigerinablanket:

Thanks for the tip!
Just sell your bulk junk. Easiest way to make caps for me.
