Canned Coffee is a new Legacy thing now?

Legacy trolls are now exchanging their useless legacy weapons for Railway Rifles, even for 1 star RRs. There is so much desperation and tears among legacy owners LOL . I just think it's karma.

Anyway, I am getting reports that legacy owners plan to use infinite AP regeneration with Canned Coffee that you can get from Slocum's Joe's Coffee Machine in basically unlimited supply (4 at once, but you can grab more pretty soon). And AP regeneration from Canned Coffee does stuck up.

So they will spam non-stop Critical Hits with Railway Rifle with tens of cans of coffee, they are already talking about revenge to non-legacy players and how they will ruin all boss fights again.

I really hope Bethesda will do something to nerf Canned Coffee AP regeneration effects.

Well, to be fair, quad railways, fixers and handmades are almost equally annoying as gatling plasmas. In fact, they're worse when it comes to the bosses.

The funny thing about this whole thing is, even without Canned Coffee and a RR, there are a half dozen other weapons that are better than Legacies were at DPS. If anything people using Legacies were often nerfing the damage they were capable of putting out if they had just switched to non-legacy weapons.

It's also kind of funny they offered the Coffee Machine at the same time they choose to do that.

I got it not to really use the coffee myself but because coffee was so valuable in the game that I saw it as a trading opportunity. But the thing is, with it being so readily available now instead of needing to be farmed, the value is a lot less lmao. Still trading it in bulk will help I suppose. Gonna see about getting someone to roll some scrip for me in exchange eventually.

How bout you just use a Paddle Ball on the SBQ. See how that works out for you.

The funny part before this thread I didnt even pay attention to the AP part. I just thought: "4 coffees that give 25% water each. That's just how I get my daily hydration in real life!"

What does legacy and non-legacy user mean. I haven't read up on the uh, special dialect for this game.

For most simplification usually when talking about legacies people are referring to explosive effect on energy weapons. Like Explosive Gatling Plasmas and Explosive Flamers, etc.

They were once obtainable legitimately in the game. The ability to get them was removed for balancing... and after like 3 years of waiting for the balance to happen they opted to just delete the effect off the weapons.

Your forgot to mention, that there were "a few" items back then, when they could drop. The vast majority of the actual legacies is purely duped - all items with the exact same stat combination. Sure, everyone claimed to be the legit owner, but with a quick view on ebay and discord traidings, 99% of all leg-users didn't find their item back then.

Nothing wrong with that. If they want to drink coffee all day everyday like that, let them.

The only thing i would add is a harmless bowel movement noise if you have too much coffee. On a timer of course. Like 10 cans in an hour and 5 mins without coffee to have the noise go away.

No, no toilet mechanic just the noise.
