A bump in the Road Bugged?

I had this same issue when the DLC first dropped and was hoping that it would be resolved by now, months later.

I find Luke's holotape, listen to it, and follow the marker to the Brahmin, but there is no cargo, so I have NEVER been able to continue with this quest. It's months later, and the same glitch is there.

Am I doing something wrong, or is it truly a bug?

I have one character that had no problem doing it, my other character can't complete. Bugthesda.......

I returned the cargo, I even ran the caravan with a friends help. The quest is still there, I still NEED to investigate stoney point.
Been having issues with the crater quests as well, Johnny just won't shoot this bastard dead.
My body who bought me the game wonders why I don't want to play at times. Because of all the bugs.

Okay, so I finally figured it out. I had the quest marked as "Active." When I unchecked the "Active" box, the cargo was where it was supposed t o be.

Whatever, I guess.

The cargo box is a quest item but it can be removed from your inventory.

I had it bugging out and adding new boxes every login. Ended up with about a dozen.

Finally decided to do the first caravan. Kept one box for display purposes (it's huge) and threw the rest in the Nuka World balloon box. Someone else's problem now (or eaten by a server reset).

New stuff in this game makes me worried. More and more programming errors are getting through and quests are buggier than ever. The talent pool is dry...
