So if an enemies attack does 100 damage if you are completely unarmored, you will take 100 damage when sentinel doesn't proc.
As for being able to craft unyielding, nice, those mods are worth a decent amount of caps/trade items.
Since about 5 years ago unfortunately... its never worked properly
Thru-Hikers is the current best in slot (+3 perk points from travelling pharmacy and +2 perk points from Thru-Hiker are freed up)... nothing beats +5 free perk points
Sigma squad weak to radiation... fixed in hours
Robot melee tricks... attempted to fix in hours (failed)... I mean they fixed what they wanted to but still failed to stop it
Snake disability tricks... fixed in hours
Instant (well multi fill) of the drill... fixed in hours
Instant kill of the stage 4 guys... fixed in hours
Scorchedbeasts in super sayian god super sayian mode... well thats been since Dec 3rd... or three months if you go by PTS of them knowing... still not fixed... killing noobs senselessly and griefing them... no issue..
no player names... took 3 months to correct a simple code error
vendor bugs... launch and counting
display bugs... launch and counting
PA bugs... launch and counting
PA unusable on character permanently... Dec 3rd or how you count PTS and counting... extremely rare and no ones repeated it... but man they could just fix that one guys character
Essentially fixes go
Does it potentially cost them atom shop sales... shut the game down and fix
Does it provide players with a buff... fix it in hours
Does it provide players with enjoyment... fix it in days
Does it cause players hard... ignore it forever
Does it ruin players characters... ignore it forever
Each mod has an independent chance to proc. That 25% chance is for one mod. The more you add, the smaller that insta-kill chance becomes.
I won't attempt the probability equations, the internet can do that. 5 independent chances with a 75% success rate.
So it's a case of all in or nothing. If you only have 1-2 mods, stash it.
But when it fails its treated as if you were naked with no defense at all
even with 5 the damage taken when you fail to trigger it is TYPICALLY much higher than the damage you avoided when it didn't fail
So if you avoid 200 damage, but take 2,000 damage you've still lost big
With mediocre builds you don't notice it as much, but end game builds it could be a difference of avoiding 20 damage but taking 2000
Or can you just stand still and it'll keep repeatedly proccing?
TTBOMK it attemps a proc everytime you've met the conditions for it (not moving or specific movement types)
I'm pretty sure that if you are running it doesn't treat you as naked for defense, just if its something that could trigger it and it fails
75% chance to reduce damage taken by 15% while standing still.
Yes it keeps your armour and you have the 15% reduction if one procs.
Only one can proc at a time so you can't get the 5 proc the same time
IIRC without doing math and vaguely remember its like 90% of the time it'll proc a 15% reduction with 5 mods and 10% of the time you will take 100% damage as if naked
Diminished returns kick in at 300, by 600 they are pretty steep. These numbers are achievable easily.
1600-3200 armour is absurd but reachable and it is effective damage immunity from them at that point, but it like (numbers made up for the sake of showing it)
300 = 92%
600 = 96%
1200 = 97%
2400 = 98%
4800 = 99%
where you get MOST of the effective value early, but can eek out more by getting high numbers
