But when u already have all 5 normal pieces, the helmet does jack squat.(it has no stats and counts as just a hat)
This, but to add it is only applicable to scout masks and not every helmet.
For some reason scout masks have an armour tag on them (the only other armour type to have this is an unused wood mask). When the game is counting to 5 that tag is accepted.
Service helmets are completely optional as they have no such armour tag.
But normally, if u got chest, arms, legs,u got a 'full set' as far as legendary perks go(or in case of armor specific bonuses like thorn or solar)
U can use the same thing with power armor, where the helmet (Usually) counts toward the set, but afaik u don't actually NEED the helmet (Though u still want one, for power armor) to match the other 5 pieces.
Hopefully you didn’t blow bullion in it. It should be a lot cheaper.
