Pin pointers vs Fracturer's
What does more limb damage? On a crippling weapon like the pepper shaker or the black powder rifle/dragon?

IDK about those weapons but I have it on one of my main's Fixer's which has Quad, Crippling, and VATS Optimized.
It Cripples enemies well especially Death claws and most often in 1-2 shots depending on the limb or head.
Enemies have weak points so it would likely do more damage to them.
pin point is for legs and arms only, I think fracture does all limbs plus explode which affects the target totally

Ah so fracturers would be more helpful, for a crippling weapon. What made me wonder was when i was farming the en06 guardian if its shield and self damage would be more and with which.
Pin point increase damage on limbs only. Fracture will give explosion damage if the limbs crippled.
I think for increased damage, pin point is far more better.
For en06 case, the most I can think that it cause damage to itself is with 4* Reflective mods on your PA instead by your weapon attack. The pin point will do help your weapon as long as you can keep targetting it's shield core.

I see, i got lucky and have had 2 reflective drop while doing the raids along with reflective perks. What i do is use the dragon with crippling 2 star and since it has limb damage bonuses it melts its own shield. I just use super stimpaks once in a while i dont even fire, just have the weapon out

IF you're using PA, setting the first mod all with troubleshooter give you massive defenses against en06, enough that you can tank it literally with few stimpak. Reflective is good choice for PA for now if you can have full suit of them (very hard to achieve I can say, so even 2 or 3 pieces already good).
Also, after taking a look, fracture mods seems conditional, not very good against single target, considering that the explosive damage seems only affecting anything near the target, not the target itself.

Dead wrong. The pinpointer’s mod directly multplies the damage done to body parts excluding the torso, which includes the head. A few exceptions may occur in enemies such as robots.

I must also point out that whoever wrote the description for the pinpointer’s mod has no idea what “i.e.” actually means. If they had used “e.g.” instead of "i.e.", that would have been correct, albeit incomplete. Now it’s simply wrong.

Does anyone here have an extra fractioners theyd be willing to trade ?

Just a note that a weapon that has an inherent crippling effect that isn't a heavy weapon would probably take advantage of the bullet shield perk card effect of six seconds of 20% deflect chance if you fire a blip of heavy weapon first then switched to the crippling one.

I did that when experimenting on what worked best for me to farm the guardian although I ended up settling on a vampires shredding mini-gun to take down the shield so I didn't have to worry about stimpaks.
I did wonder about a four star mod that I got that can do explosive damage to nearby targets when crippling limbs and whether it would also damage the robot health but didn't try it because the auto-axe with pounders gets the job done.

It's overrated. It doesn't really add anymore damage but looks cool.
