Other than "don't use bugged weapons" what else is there really to say?
Thanks again, and have a good day. (still loving Fallout 76 more than most games, despite a dislike/distrust of the company behind it)
Also, "dont use bugged weapons" is not helpful advice in this context :)
Yeah, its annoying they seem not to care about BP weapons - especially as they're such a fun challenge.
Previously, it was only when you switched weapons, but since they "fixed" quad effect, they appear to have broken faster reloads for all other BP weapons.
However, some (sorta) good news.
Everything works fine if you make them Quad weapons - with perks and onslaught stacks, the reload is fast and no artificial delays.
So, there *is* actually a viable build - I use 2 Quad BP Rifles and 2 Quad BP Pistols.
Ok, the alpha damage you can get with a Furious version is nice, and its a shame - but Quad is easily the best choice for those weapons.
The only irony is, with the new pistol damage changes, you need to fit *all* lvl 3 Riflemen perks just to hit the same dmg number as the pistol lol. And I'm not completely convinced the new Agility buff cards are applying correctly either as the rifles (at close range) seem to do slightly less damage than the pistol.
But - it is what it is, and is only marginally slower around WestTek than packing an Auto-Axe and pressing W ;)
(PS, for us full health ghouls, Lucky is the essential 3* mod... with Quad you really need the frequent Crits)
(PPS Wild West Hands works for this - definitely worth it)
