the beginning of the end for 76
What comes next after Gleaming Depths?
I was under the impression there was an Enclave questline that would give it context, but instead some crevasse suddenly appears in the Ash Heap that leads to something so atypical of Fallout and looks like it was ripped off the cover of an Iron Maiden album.
If they do more raids, will there be unique mod drops to those raids? Perhaps more 4 star mods for normal armor?
It will give a reason to choose between the raids or it will be like Expeditions. The harder raid will go unplayed unless there are specific mods you can only get from Gleaming Depths.
Ghouls are useless in the raid, so they need to add another radiation-heavy raid to accommodate the Ghoul class, otherwise their two newest features wont mesh very well.
Will the new raids add 5 star mods? Is that where we're going with this?
More power creep on a power crept game?

Unless Beth has ambitions for 76 they havent expressed, or this game is about to become redundant. They need to expand the map, stash, budget, etc and add high level endgame zones. The western and northern parts of the map have huge areas of unused space. You cant maintain a captive audience with willing wallets if its just.... this.

What the **** is Gleaming Depths doing in this game anyway? You can't get players to work together on any events like eviction notice, moonshine madness or any. This patch about raids belongs in WOW or something else. The only things I see 76 being used for is building ridiculous camps, posting "best builds" which show up on servers the player isn't even on and can block your camp when you log on. Another stupid item is PvP here, that belongs in other shootin' up games like Arma.

I do remember the end of 76. We got Star Wars and KC and the Sunshine Band and Great Disco. Maybe we could just skip Fallout 5 and go right to Fallout 77. Get to shake my booty again.

Get on the highway onto Interstate '76.

Based on Steve Jackson's board game Car Wars.

I had an armored ice cream truck with a 360 freeze ray turret on the roof and junk dropper for a rear bumper. Everyone always takes plasticore tires to resist bullets but the firmness rating sucks for ice. It was also no penalty to shoot the turret at the ground compared to another moving car. I'd dominate matches by making cars slide into junk piles.
