Gold Bullion??
I've been off of fallout for probably 6 months. How do I get gold bullion? Any tips?

Getting gold bullion hasn't changed in the last six months.
The events that run all the time or from the scoreboard.

You can buy 300 per week from the vendor in the wayward (which will cost you 6000 caps). After that, it's turning in treasury notes (1 note is 10 gold, max 40 notes/400 gold per day unless it's a double weekend). For me, the raid has been a treasury note farm but you can earn them from other events and even a few of the daily quests.

You have to complete the quest at the Wayward to be able to get Gold Bullion. Ask the Bartender if you haven't done it. 2 events at Crater, 1 at Foundation, 1 at Overseer's house, Multiple at Whitespring. You can in settings, make them automatically start or not. Or you can look at the little diamond markers on the map and mark them active, or in the Pipeboy under the data tab.
Bro thinks gold bullion is a new currency lmfao just admit you havent played since wastelanders.

Be patience just keep collecting Treasury Notes and save your caps. You will be surprised how fast they come doing events and the like. Don't worry the items and plans you want to buy will be there. 40 Treasury Notes will get you 400 gold bullion which recycles about every 24 hrs after you buy it. Either the Crater or the Foundation is what I use.

Any event with an exclamation mark will gives you Treasury Notes that you can exchange for Gold.

You do need to do the quest's for either the Raiders or Foundation and the gold raid on the vault, I believe anyway, before you can deal in gold. I may be wrong though.

Bethesda changed that after they started giving out bullion as scoreboard rewards. Now anyone can earn bullion/treasury notes from day dot.

The only thing the vault raid does now is make the bullion vendors accessible (Mortimer at Crater only, I think).

do events and exchange treasure notes for bullions or exchange 6k caps for 300 bullions in the wayward (once per week)

Well trading in gold bullion is quite limited in game before you do the quest to breach the vault.
You can get it by exchanging your Treasury notes and so on before doing the quest at the press machines.
...but Smiley who exchanges your caps for bullion only turns up at the Wayward after the quest.
...and the only bullion vendors available pre-quest for exchanging your bullion for stuff are Samuel at Foundation and Minerva when she's at her rotating destinations.
If you have any treasury notes to trade for gold bullion, change to the "Inventory" tab at the Gold machine that exchanges it, it will show up there.

Throwing this out there just in case this is the issue.

For a while I kept going to the machine and didn't see any treasury notes to exchange, even though I knew I had been earning them.
