Unconventional Weapons V63 Carbine Plan Bug

SOLUTION: Visit the ghoul ammo vendor "Theodore" in Mile One. He now has the V63 Laser Carbine plans in his inventory for 11 caps

Last update stated that they had "fixed a bug" where you could complete the quest without getting the plans and making a gun IF you had purchased one before the quest started.

Great.

What it doesn't say is what us poor slobs who got the bug are supposed to do now. I checked the safe and the plan isn't there. I checked in the workbench and I can't craft the gun. I checked my inventory and I don't have the plan.

Am I (and everyone else who got caught out in this bug) just SOL?

Back when it happened yes, got a "we know, thank you for being patient" boilerplate. Then I saw it listed as a bugfix and did all the things I listed in an attempt to find the plan.

He shouldn't have to put tickets is, wtf are the developers doing besides putting out updates ♥♥♥♥ up content? SAo far the Raid is the only thing they put in the game that isn't trash.

I got a good one for you. I made the mistake of submitting a ticket. I got the trophy of responses. "Your USER configuration is corrupted, you'll need to create another user and have someone else log on to your account" So I sent them (Bethesda) a picture of my two dogs sitting at my PC and saying "What are we supposed to do?" and "I can't use a mouse I don't have thumbs"

Submit a ticket because I think the one thing support can do is reset the quest.

You'd probably have to go through it again but it might solve the issue as learning plans is important for 'purveyor rolls' on gear rewards.

Already did and they want a screen shot "to prove I completed the quest" - I'll do it, but not without thinking "You know my account deets, can't you just LOOK AT THE ACCOUNT"

It does not bode well...

u get a separate version of the v63 carbine plan offered at your ammo vendor at your trade caravan, i learned both.
here i thought maybe the next one i could trade but this post is prolly the real reason.
both versions have same stats.
and i was max level with anything but the interior decorator so idk what reqs are to see it

I assume you mean you can get a copy of the plan from the ghoul ammo vendor at the blue ridge caravan. Ill have to check that, I got tired of the "Stare at a Brahmins ass" quest so I haven't been down there in forever and didn't check if Theo had anything.

Well after Beth had me delete ini files and submit screenshots and escalated the issue twice with no solution in sight, Nlkto Barada comes to my rescue.

Vendor Theo did indeed have the plan all along and I was able to buy it.

So, in this case, asking here was the solution and support was useless.

funny thing was i was checking wether one of the 2 vendors had added mod plans for any other stuff. v63 carb scopes, or plans for zweihänder. this is just random info i found. sry again.
