Best builds
I decided to share my camp as a best build is this aspect of the game still alive? Is there any criteria that the community follows for best build camps? Mine is a cabin workshop in the mire.

People hate it because they don't understand what it is. It is a showcase system that allows a camp to be shown globally instead of domestically on only a few servers.

Once you understand that it does what it says on the tin, showcases camps.

But it suffers because of that misunderstanding when players submit stuff that shouldn't be submitted because they think it is their camp instead of a copy.

Therefore there is a lot of static noise in the system that devalues it completely. It'll never live up to its potential because the players are using it wrong (yeah, I know, that's exactly what Bethesda said about Starfield...).

I don't like it, because it doesn't allow me to see the things that a person sells in their camp.

I dislike this as well but I have seen some interesting creations so I have decided to pitch in with my humble cabin in the Mire.

It definitely took me some time to understand its implications but its definitely a fun aspect of the game. Wish we had a bit more camp storage though.
It's ok. I gave them crap because you can't photo the inside of shelters but they don't interfere with the game so I don't mind them and is an additional carrot to encourage players to visit each other's camps.
For it to show up you can't log in to the character that owns it. If you are online then it will never show. Plus I never vote for it if I can't walk away from it with a ♥♥♥♥♥ ton of lootd/stolen crap.

Here's a fun one I had the other day. My own best build blocked my own camp...

Went to log in and got the warning message. I thought it was weird because I could see my Hot Rod and fence so my camp was loaded.

Only it wasn't my camp but the Best Builds copy of it.

I could tell too as it was an older version where I had the F.E.T.C.H. collectron that I had replaced with the pet dog in the current camp. I could have even given it a like if I wanted (I didn't).
