Raid question

I just did raids for the first time today, and in one team this guy had insane damage, the first robot was killed in under a minute, the 3 enclave dudes he destroyed in like 5 seconds each, and finally the wierdest part, at the 3rd part, he simply ran through a closed door, and we all got teleported to the end boss, and ofc he destroyed it in seconds again.
So was the guy cheating, or are there really that broken builds and/or guns in the game?

Would be more optimal build combined with bad game mechanic some call it exploits.

Its normal in game - EN06 u can beat in seconds with shredder (shield go down in a sec), 3 guys just probably die by enclave plasma, snake die by gatplasma or also shredder. Its nothing bad good gear/build and knowledge of mechanics.

Now walking thru doors is a glitch very old. It works in enitre game and uses photomode.

"Probably" they gonna fix it soon - so no worries enjoy the game.

It's a combination of cheese and cheat.

They have found a way to cheese the mobs and kill them quickly. I don't consider it cheating. But taking advantage of how things are set up.

The door glitch to skip the horde and go straight to the snake. That's a "cheat".

I will not go so far with call it "cheat". No one mess with memory or use 3rd party software - it just works in game thats engine problem with meshes. And if it exist in game its a feature.
Same thing with entering PA in correct moment on EN06 platform to avoid damage. If game alows you that why not use it ? Building in air you will also call "cheat" ?

I know the photo glitch but this guy sprinted through the doors, and he was using a fixer the whole time, or it looked like one, it made no noise however.

While there are varying degrees of exploitation; in general, calling someone a cheater in this game is like handing out speeding tickets at the Indianapolis 500. The coding here is equal parts fine gold and crusty dog turds, carefully blended into the barely functional application that you "enjoy" playing so much.

The damage is probably normal for an end game build.

The door glitch was probably done for the following reasons. He was doing you a favor carrying the RAID for your group. The Horde is pretty much the easiest stage (on par with robot), even for a solo player; but it is possible for a group who doesn't know what they are doing to cause this stage to fail by using up and wasting crystals needed to finish the kill. He probably just wanted to avert this and get to the snake.

It's a shame you missed the horde, for me it is the only "fun" stage in the raid.

It is actually cheating of some. There are lots of mods out there that just work ingame, one of them is a mod that practically removes all locked doors so you don't even have to use the photomode glitch.

There are even mods that highlight the molerats and fuel canisters in the drill stage, or some will just outright use a mod that gives them infinite canisters and they just spam fill the drill from the beginning.

I have seen them all, rarely a raid done where someone didn't use a glitch or just cheated through.

But some builds can seriously do an extreme ton of damage, at least that sounded legit what you experienced ^^ but I also witnessed (albeit rarely) where someone just one shot everything with a pipe pistol sooo...

Is there a mod that removes the doors in the raid? I know there is one for the silo's, seen it both mentioned by other people and had it pop up when browsing trending on fallout 76 nexus, that would explain them passing through them as those mods would remove them for them, for you however they would still show and act like they were there.

Just dont think too much about it and enjoy the game in your way. No one ban you for photomode or participate in rush raid and no one ban you If you build your camp in the sky (this one official aproved by bethesda). There is even a contest on official discord you can see there flying camps :)
But dont use 3rd party tools dont mess with memory and so on

He probably used mod from nexus to pass the doors, and fixer hmm hard to say but dmg output shouldnt be so OP. I saw that some guy with western revolver took snake in few shots - Its not normal and shouldnt happend but maybe some mixes of perks mods or food buffs could do the trick and no one make vid about it. Its a mistery to me.

Few times I saw ppl skip to snake in 1st cave before EN06. Just get out PA near the certain wall and they were over mesh you will not find a vid on yt about it. Its another mistery.

Strange Things happen in this game but again dont think about it just enjoy it.

In melee build I can shred squad solo in 1 minute, no exploits or hacks. W/out 100 buffs, with Gatling Plasma I can solo EN06 in two rounds. And I quit teams that use exploits, raid is easy as it is, no need for dumb shortcuts

Fun fact: Bethesda not too long ago started banning accounts with sky camps for exploiting.

There was public outcry, particularly from some YouTubers, and they reversed their stance and reinstated the accounts.

Thing is, according to their own ToS and their correct initial actions, sky camps are banable exploits.

Never underestimate the power of the public in having rules ignored for 'the greater good' ie. Todd's wallet...

I've seen just about EVERYBODY run through the doors like they never existed, They don't even stop to open them. Then several people spam fuel the driller without getting the cans, Later someone absolutely deleted the snake in under 10 shots.
So same here, I see lots of hacked instances of people running the raids. Never a 100% legit raid, Never seen the "crystal step" start.

Raid 1 - Team kill of a robot at 1 minute is rather slow

Raid 2 - You didn't mention the drill, its possible to get fuel outside of the raid now and so it can be completed very quick with a tonne of grinding outside a raid

Raid 3 - They are wimps, with the shields down they melt in microseconds

Raid 4 - He use the photomode glitch, probably via a third party cheat if he quickly went through the door, but players who use that glitch hard can get it done pretty fast too... its been in the game since launch and bugfesta doesn't care... PLUS raid 4 legitimately bugs out 99% of the time so someone skipping that one has my blessing

Raid 5 - Once a teammate steps on the island everyone is teleported to it, so by skipping 4 he was able to trigger 5 and summon you... killing the snake in no time at all is also totally legit
