Wise way to spend atoms?
Hello there,

So after around 50 or 60 hours, I have 1280 atoms and I´m not sure what is the wiser way to spend them, what do you guys recommend the most, or what things are the most useful?

Thank you!

From my PoV, it's best to take skins you like most, armors, weapons, PA, or even c.am.p. stuff.
There isn nothing must have as most usefull stuff from shop may get free as of the daily free item.
I like having a few backpack skins to to change if depending on the stuff i wear.
Depends on what you want.

If you enjoy building and like trying different designs or want a specific aesthetic, buy camp items and kits that fit what you want.

If you want in-game boosts you can buy things like lunchboxes, repair kits, SCORE board rerollers, etc., - most of that can be earned in-game, but slower than just buying a bunch.

Related to boosts, some camp items can help you harvest specific in-game food/drink/etc. consumables. Other camp items (weight bench, perfume sprayer, carnival games) can be used for a minute in-game to give temporary SPECIAL boosts.

If you like to customize your character, there are outfits and weapon skins.

It's all down to what you want out of the game.

At the beginning of the next season I will most likely trade some of the free atoms for the season pass if there is something on there behind the Fallout 1st/Season pass lock that's desirable. The pass also gives access to some boosters which in turn can mean you can trade for even more atoms or perk coins on the bonus rewards page.
Can be useful if you want more SPECIAL slots or CAMP locations and don't want to use real money.
Other than that I have got autoaxe crafting and the Mirelurk steamer and also a gun paint that was on special one day.

Emotes = Top tier
Photomode secret emotes = Top tier (guitar or other poses that actively do something)
Cosmetics you really like = High tier
Building items that are useful = High tier (aka statley amoire for 8 display slots)

The best way is to buy F1st gamepass with atoms, at start of every season! In a season, you get 2000 atoms with gamepass, and gamepass cost 1500 atoms! you are 500 over in every season! You can even buy infinite 100 atoms with gamepass at level 150.

IMO Must haves are the resource items that produce hard-to-cook meals or just basic meals(mirelurk steamer, Pemmican Collector, coffee/tea machines, tea machine u can buy with gold bullion btw so save your atoms there)

Next up would be the resource collection items that produce materials u may use (oil, nuclear waste, adhesive, etc)

After that, the passive aura generators (utility box set) cuz just not needing wires everywhere actually helps a ton(You still need to make actual connections to some things, but most lights and stuff that rely on passive power from the wall work with this, plus they are a LOT smaller than their larger non-passive aura versions, so are far easier to slap down somewhere)

And if you care about camp defense, the best turrets in the game(enclave turrets) are worth it (but you may need to make special request via support ticket to get these)

The rest is just skins, get the skins u want, can ignore the rest, nothing is game breaking really (though some weapon/armor skins will 'hide' the item with the skin in scrap/sell windows, so they are an added layer of protection preventing you dropping / scrapping important items)

not a bad one IF you want stuff on the pay side of the pass
I would also suggest buying the Fusion Core Recharger unless you got that mod for your Power Armor, and I believe an Ammo Changer to change ammo to another type.

Its like 1 core to 100% from 1% in an hour isn't it?

Plus cores at 0% are discarded so you gotta be pretty on the micromanaging
Mirelurk steamer if you have the carnivore mutation.
Tea and Coffee machines.

company tea machine, cold shoulder and auto axe so you dont have to do the expeditions

Yeah there are a few items that are pretty damn close to pay to win (coffee machine is a prime example, the cryo fridges also should be a standard item IMO not being able to store spoiling items for long term is bull). The ammo converter is......nice but tedious and limited, still recommend especially because you can craft steel into railway spikes then convert them into what ever ammo is available in the machine, sense you get steel from a wide variety of junk its MUCH simpler than trying to farm up a few thousand copper, gunpowder, lead, or whatever else. (Main downside is it takes foreeeever to go through its menu, there is no excuse for it to be that tedious - and it can't produce all ammo types such as plasma cores or ultracite ammo)

As you complete the challenges and go through the SCOREBOARD you'll earn more atoms so 'eventually' you can reach a point where you are turning to vanity items, which is typically skins or camp stuff because functionality is nice, but if you dont look great while mindlessly farming stuff what is the point in life really?

Resource Generators:
Mirelurk Steamer. Deathclaw Roaster. The list is long but these things produce items for free.
Be careful there are some duplicate resource generators such as the chicken coop and coffee machines you can buy for bullion but there is also an "atom shop" version. Don't waste your atoms on anything you can already buy for bullion.
