If you are not happy with the darkness of the nights increase brightness in your GPU software such as Nvidia control panel. Or through your monitor settings.
Many keys are not able to be changed from their default binds unfortunately. Been like that forever.
Either colors seem washed out because its too bright or its too dark like shadows cast by foliage and trees.
Have a look at your HDR settings, windows, GPU software and maybe in game (can't remember if game has HDR settings). Turn them off.
If it works, great we have something to tell others. If it doesn't (I suspect this is an issue for BGS to solve) we are right where we are anyway...
When it released it was even darker but Bethesda increased the brightness so much, that night time didn't even feel like night anymore.
Only recently they slightly turned the brightness down again.
Turn on your PipBoy light.
That's how it should be.
In a post-apocalyptic rural region like Appalachia, with no power infrastructure and street lights, it should be pitch black at night, especially with no Moon or when it's overcast.
Going into densely forested area should make it darker another notch.
It's a half-baked piece of software you try to make work, and that's the entire thing.
Go start editing your files. Spend hours and days, only to uninstall when you realise how horrifically awful it is. I mean, the worst the world has seen.
Nothing in life is as sad as this studio, and what they dump out.
Uh, yeah... Personally I wish the game was way darker at night and inside.
I can't be bothered to complain about 76, there is so much wrong with it I have come to the conclusion that the "REAL" quest in this game is seeing how many bugs you can find. I wish they would give rewards for each one I came across, I'd probably have a million ATOMS !
xD lmao okay
Just use the flashlight ppls, its not that hard.
Or...another life hack -> Press Q.
Or...just keep runnin in 1(!) direction.
Least this is not as dumb as sayin "the worst the world has seen".
Who r u, Donald Trump? xD
Its mucho grande better then before, when we could barely tell the difference between day and night.
