ye an i've seen it's even getting a damage boost when ghouls drop too :) doubt it's gonna be up there with the likes of fixers/railways an stuff but the increase is most welcome an the next time the gun will be on sale from minerva is gonna be like 11 weeks or so >_<
Onslaught will be gained by consecutive hits on enemies each generated stack will grant multiple bonuses, stacks will be defined by what perks and gear you might be using. The gained stacks will expire by 1 stack per second.
Stacks will be gained until a max stack cap is reached; at max stack, every hit after on the same enemy will not increase stacks.
Shotguns gain stacks per each projectile hit.
Reflect and Deflect effects also increase stacks.
Max Onslaught is 30.

but thinking about it now i think that's due to the damage cards being taken away
Without mods it was pretty garbage and I went back to my 10mm.
Part of the carrots to get people to do Daily Ops.
It lacks pep. Feels sluggish against packs and not as good damage as energy vs fatties.
Here's the build I tested it with. A modded 10mm is more fun imo.

I dunno, it still does pretty decent damage for me while using a single pistol damage perk card. Which I just bring as a reserve weapon in case I run out of ammo for my main.
Granted I'm saying all this based on an unmodded legendary crusader. I just have the pistol plans that's it.
Because the Crusader (I prefer the original name of Chimera) pistol can add elemental damage it can benefit from some 4* such as pyromaniacs. I have no idea if this would make it a better weapon so would be interested to hear if anyone has in game experience.
I still think it's a worse 10mm though as few AP reduction and crit mods, and no suppressor if you want stealth.
