is it just me or is the latest addition RAIDS way to difficult?
I came across the new RAID missions, they are fun the first Raid i started was succesful, even when i died at the end not knowing bloodied gets 1-shot by the spit, without vamp minigun.

But i have to say, the 4 man RAID is too difficult, especially when you got to dodge the spit and watch out for the Tail and platforms flooding, it takes a lot of practice and really good weapons, like a vamp gaussminigun for a heavy build to be effective, i even got to the floodings phase 1 alone becasue my team left after failure, we surely need a better camera position to see the puddles underneath our boots, and see which platforms flood, maybe add an indicator of some sorts, since then i never finished the Snake Boss ever again.

Anyone else havibg problems with the snake?

Rando teams can work now that people are figuring it out. The individual encounters each have some tactics and tenuous involved, so it took people to figure them out, but it’s pretty common to get a pick-up team that can do it in a reasonable amount of time now.

The rewards are kind of ridiculous, too. I’m not some no-life min/maxed player. I’m lv 800-something, have a a decent, but not perfect, build, and decent head. I’m stopping between encounters to stash everything worth saving, scrapping every legendary I get, and dropping stimpaks 100-200 at a time just to keep from being over encumbered.

Every day, for the past 3-4 days, I’ve been able to start a Raids team, take who came along, and get through an enjoyable run with randos. People are starting to get it.

I just hope they add some more variants…. and a Legendary exchange machine between encounters.

So if you die do you respawn back between parts?

I was with a team and they just use the first level for farming and ignore the rest.

yes each time your group wipes (all die) or if your team completed the event

by all mean its easier than vault raid that have time limit and object to find hope they will keep this one regard of what pp complain

It's endgame content for endgame players, if you are not that experienced you can still try but don't complain if you get deleted in the first stage.
RAIDS have been designed to be ''hard.''
Imagine that there are ultra endgame players that see RAIDS like a tutorial and have no issues doing them in solo.

If you fail a part it should revert the amount your ammo, food/drinks, aid to what it was before failing.(Disable trading and visible-dropping inside raid to prevent exploits)
On the first part I agree. yes, the difficulty is fine as it is. It's not supposed to be super easy for someone who's not prepared. But neither is it too difficult iether, once you know what to do and what gear/build to use.

The DBNO state... Eeeeeh, I dunno. Not really needed, tbh. Kinda mostly to prevent stupid raid-wipes when everyone's trying to pick up each other with the one-punch-moleminers walking around, you know?

For the lst part however, about the ammo/food/etc "reset" for fail - Imagine the layer of spaghetti code needed to accomodate that. The game itself is already made of immense levels of spaghetti as it is. Adding more will only make things worse. I think this is "acceptable losses" for failure. Seriously, this is Bethesda - Imagine the bugs that may come out of this... Yeah, no.

If people actually played it as intended they would see stage 5 is the hardest.

Stage 1 just keep someone at the bots back and shoot the shield gen.

Stage 2 all 4 people fuel the drill until you get the first difficulty warning, by then you should be almost done anyway.

Stage 3 keep the shields down and focus on one of the 3 mobs at the same time.

Stage 4 is just staying out of the way of the person pulling mobs into the crystal explosion area or stay right on his back. Just keep the agro on one guy.

Stage 5 is the blowing snake where people seem to die by not jumping when he blows more than anything else.

Only thing really needed for 3 of the 5 stages is a good gun which is easy to make these days.

Right now its just solo's using auto axe with pounders using photo-mode to skip levels 3-5. And even if they did patch it it's way too late now.

This post hasn't aged well. The raid content is, in true FO76 fashion, VERY forgiving and many people have already reached the point where it is trivial. There are plenty of individual players who can practically carry the entire group, and if you have even just two out of four marginally capable and prepared players it's pretty much a done deal.

Mostly agree with your post, but holy ♥♥♥♥ that's the funniest misuse of the term edgelord that I've seen in a while

I've been soloing the first phase primarily thanks to how reflect damage works. It does damage both to the robot's shield and it's health each time it happens, and it can activate at blinding speed when you have everything firing right at you. You will have to have the proper gear and perks, not to mention legendary perks so don't expect to just jump in and win like a normal event. It's a quest that requires you to push your character to the limit in terms of damage output and damage mitigation.
