Best power armor overall ?
I am back in the game and the T-65 are one new armor for me.

But my question are at the end with all mods the best power are are the t-65 ? Or other armor are better because other armor will have more mods like the x-01 ultracite ?

Power Armor can have legendary effects now.

All power Armors give 7% Damage Reduction per piece (not the Helmet), 42% in total.

Angry Turtle has a video where he compares level 15 Raider PA vs a lvl 50 high tier PA, getting shot by Supermutants it seems he takes ~ 20% more damage in the Raider PA.
So the real difference between high tier PAs is very small.

For daily life Exacavtor with 100lbs carry-capacity (full set) might be more helpful, especialy in regard to availability because it can be traded

Union PA gives +75lbs but 150 poison resistance (full set) wich can be very valuble; not tradeable and must now purchased for 1000 stamps by Guiseppe :(
(8-10 stamps per succesfull Expedition)

Hellfire PA gives -2% ballistic damge per piece (not Helmet) wich is golden but only needed for pvp.

So T-65: still a top PA but there might be better choices depending on your preferences.

1000 stamps? Try 5800 stamps: https://i.imgur.com/P8QbD1m.jpg

Helmet, chest, 4 limbs are 800 stamps each, total 4800.
Jet pack costs 1000 stamps.

The above plans were given FREE on last season's scoreboard, which ended on Dec-06-2022.

Essential mods cost extra:
Calibrated shocks, 85 stamps.
Emergency protocols, 85 stamps.

You can still get mods free, once a week, by completing daily expeditions with all objectives accomplished. But you get mods only, not the main plans: helmet, chest, arms, etc.

It's kind of heinous that Bethesda essentially gave the biggest FU to all who missed last season. How do they expect people to grind for 5800 stamps?

I reckon it's meant for the same people who are working towards the 7600 hours in game atom challenge because there is no way someone in their right mind is going to run 580 expeditions for a PA.

Why they had to complicate things by adding another form of currency that can only be obtained from expeditions I will never understand, especially when a lot of the previous seasons stuff was added to the gold bullion vendors.

T-65 and a Chainsaw doing a sweeping motion back and forth during Radiation Rumble. Or standing at the Moonshine Jamboree, you just have to let chainsaw spin down before using Stim pac so maybe Life Saving - auto stim - armor would be best, because I rarely repair the T-65.

Since I got SS Armor only time I wear PA is if I have to go in a Blast Zone.
I can pretty much live through anything with just my SS.........

IMHO, X-01 and excavator is the combo to go for. Grinding for Hellcat, T65, or Union is just not a good idea. There is simply no practical difference in survivability because nothing hits hard enough to get through X-01, spend your time and effort rolling for the perfect sets and forget about wasting your time grinding for things that do not matter. Unlock literally anything else with your gold and stamps. By the time you get done unlocking all of those other things, you'll be bored of power armor and ready to try something different like a commando build using secret service armor. But never fear, if you still want to pull out your heavy weapons hop back into your X-01 and you still wont be missing anything because there is still nothing that can hurt you :)
