Lure Weed?

Is the wiki correct that there is no where to pick Lure Weed? I thought I found it somewhere a long time back.

Which vendors are likely to stock it?

In areas with Anglers such as the far northeast map there's like 5 possible spawns for only 3 Anglers. There will be Lure Weed in the spots that didn't spawn an Angler.

I've looked out there several times but I can never find any. It's supposed to be in ponds not streams yes?

Pretty sure i have seen it for sale from vendors like inside the Whitespring restaurant. Also i think i have found it in the game world as well but it was not recently so cannot remember details.

It'll sometimes spawn in lunch boxes but is fairly rare.

Makes chew stick even rarer unless you have a Cryo freezer or something (though now supposedly food items don't spoil when sold to robo vendors).

Sadly, in FO76 lure weed does not grow naturally in bodies of water like it did in FO4 Far Harbor.
Makes it a bit silly that Anglers are still there hiding in the water, trying to blend in as lure weed.

You will however find lure weed as a crafting item:

• in coolers and refrigerators
  
• sold by food vendors
  
• Vault-Tec Agricultural Research Center basement (fixed location)

I swear I've picked one before by the anglers. Maybe it was inside that mirelurk dungeon. Also the agro-tech basement is a good choice if you just need a few. Chew sticks def drop from lunch boxes I see them fairly often.

I must be looking in the wrong lunch boxes.

The curious thing is the Wiki's say you learn the chew stick recipe after having picked a lure weed for the first time... so there's got to be one out there you can pick.

One of the two in the argo research basement might be in a planter and pick-able. I remember them laying on tables or in a fridge tho. Just to be clear... I'm talking about the center with the Mr. Farmer robots.

I guess they mean pick up, not harvest from an intact plant.
So far, I have only seen them in containers and lying on tables.
