Crits not recognized

in my game i have dmg numbers turned on. when i shoot my Gatling Plasma in VATS i see sometimes 5 times the same number and one time 1 high number. and this even tough i have a crit build, where every second shot crits. normally i should see low number, high number, low number, high number and so on, but thats not the case. and before you ask, yes, i have 35 Luck and critical savvy card equipped!

so it seems, the game wont recognize the crits and i dont know why. anyone has the same problem and/or a solution?

Could be the Gatling "sprays" the energy around similar to a shotgun but at longer ranges and not as big of a spread. If you were able to hit the target with all the shots it probably would have better numbers.

Well don't ask Jethro, try and check with Granny or better yet Elly May. I'd check with Elly May myself. I'd just hang with her all day and see what she can tell you. I would.

My guess is your rate of fire is faster than the game can register onslaught points rising, then gives you a lump sum of damage at the end.

It does the same thing when you're crafting a bunch of items fast. Gives you a big lump of xp.
